Toolbox by Admiral - Unifying UX for Leading Insurance Company with Next.js MVP
$100001 to $500000
24 weeks
Financial & Payments
Challenge:
Toolbox team wanted to unify the user experience across its products and develop a customer-facing platform containing the entire offer as a one-stop shop for all the users.
Toolbox has a wide team of specialists ready to build the backend but wanted to get additional support in establishing the full project plan, choosing the right tech stack, and developing a user-centric frontend.
That being said, as we became their partner, our final goal was to create a frontend that will cater to all the product lines and be powered by the content management system.
"3 in 1" MVP
Toolbox team determined that the platform should consist of three components:
- A Marketing Website
- "Quote-to-buy" App
- A "Customer Account" App
Solution:
The whole project was built by a few, experienced teams cooperating with each other. As a frontend development agency, Pagepro was responsible for:
- Building a Jamstack marketing website with Next.js and Sanity
- Building the frontend with React, and integrating Sanity for the Quote-to-buy application
- Contribution to UI Development for the Customer Account App
Results:
We created the MVP that meets all the functional and technical requirements and provides a fully automated insurance selling process with a user-friendly interface. With this platform, Toolbox delivers a unified user journey across the products that influence brand recognition and makes project management easier.
Colony - UX and UI Overhaul of Blockchain’s App with React.
$100001 to $500000
69 weeks
Financial & Payments
Challenge:
When Colony reached us, their web application built upon React.js required a visual refreshment to make it easier, user-friendly and attractive.
Additionally, the current setup made adding new functionalities complicated and often led to a disjointed UI and UX, resulting in user confusion about how the application worked.
Furthermore, since Colony is constantly growing and evolving, they wanted to ensure they have a solid foundation to support their further growth and provide full scalability.
Solution:
Colony decided to outsource the front-end development to refresh their current application, mostly because they decided to focus their internal resources on backend development and blockchain integration, areas that are core to their platform's unique value proposition.
Given our previous cooperation and the fact that we already knew the project, Colony decided to use our React experience for their project. They provided us with the list of needs they had for implementing the new design:
accommodate new features better
adjust the app to the price they charge for using it
rebuild some components
make it easier and more attractive
make it more user-friendly
make the app more mobile-responsive
implement users' feedback they received
improve overall user flow and interactions to make it easier to access and ensure a simple process
Result:
Since launching in a closed beta at the end of November, limited to a select group of users, the platform has been under continuous improvement, reflecting the dynamic nature of blockchain applications. This time has been crucial for gathering and integrating user feedback, with our team working closely with Colony to enhance the application.
Learn Squared - Next.js Migration Leading to a 24% Revenue Growth
$50001 to $100000
15 weeks
Education
Customers Challenge:
Learn Squared faced many challenges arising from the monolithic Drupal platform they were using. The inflexible nature of the platform made it complicated and time-consuming to incorporate new features, delaying the project's ability to stay competitive and adapt to market demands. The outdated tech stack limited the platform’s potential for innovation and scalability.
Solution:
To address those challenges, our team proposed a comprehensive solution, offering a full-house service that included:
Technical Discovery Phase to run technical feasibility and choose the best and the most efficient tech stack, as well as the delivery scope
Jamstack Development Services which included migration to a new platform and integration with a new e-commerce platform
Post Release Support to support the product after its release, continue working on new features, implement users' feedback and quickly respond to any problems or bugs
Notable 4% decrease in the bounce rate and a 24.35% increase in revenue within the first 26 days since launch. (It's important to consider that additional factors like recent sales and new course launches may have also influenced this metric.)
Seamless integration of new features and facilitating the platform's rapid evolution in response to changing market demands
Full compatibility, strengthened security, safeguarding and establishing a robust and future-proof infrastructure
Kiwi Storage - 84% LCP Reduction on a Storage Service Website with Next.js
$10001 to $50000
13 weeks
Transportation & Logistics
Objective:
Establish a modern web identity aligned with the brand guidelines.
Build a scalable, flexible website to support the business strategy and future growth.
When Kiwi Storage approached us, their goal was clear: expand their reach, streamline the storage ordering process by integrating a third-party system, and turn their website into the primary source of lead generation.
Their existing WordPress website fell short of expectations, requiring heavy developer involvement and manual handling of inquiries, which was inefficient and time-consuming.
To address these challenges, we opted for a high-performance, secure, and scalable solution. Migrating to Jamstack emerged as the ideal approach.
Services Delivered:
Jamstack Development
Next.js Implementation
Sanity Headless CMS Integration
On-Site SEO Optimization
Kiwi Storage also envisions evolving their site into an e-commerce platform with customer accounts. For this reason, we chose Next.js—a standout framework for user interaction and custom feature support.
Adopting a headless CMS empowers Kiwi's content creators, giving them full control over content management, structure, and adaptability for future updates.
Localcoin - Migrating Bitcoin ATM Platform from Wordpress to Next.js and Prismic
$10001 to $50000
Not Disclosed
Financial & Payments
Localcoin was challenged with slow page speeds, a dated technology stack, and a user experience (UX) that was far from optimal. These challenges hindered both business growth and customer satisfaction.
They decided to migrate from WordPress to Jamstack. The primary goal was to achieve lightning-fast page speeds unavailable with their current WordPress setup. Their vision was to build a website grounded in future-proof technologies, leveraging modern frameworks and tools. However, they didn't have the resources to run the migration independently.
They were looking for a Jamstack expert who would create the website for them and were talking to 3-4 similar agencies to ours, but based on some factors they considered like quality, speed of development, technical expertise and experience in crypto, after the technical call, where we shared our deep Jamstack experience, they decided to process the project with us!
Our Solution: Next.js for frontend agility
Prismic as a Headless CMS (chosen for its superior user experience and excellent multi-language support)
Results:
- Lower Page Weight: The transition to a Jamstack architecture, with Next.js at the forefront, significantly reduced the page weight of Localcoin's website.
- Enhanced Website Performance: The use of modern web technologies and adherence to best practices in web development resulted in a highly performant website.
- Streamlined Content Management: The adoption of Prismic CMS, a headless content management system provided the marketing team with a user-friendly interface, allowing them to update and publish content in multi-language versions quickly and efficiently.
- Independence in Content Updates: With Prismic CMS, Localcoin's non-technical staff gained the ability to make content changes independently, without needing developer intervention.
Proofed - Improving Editorial Order Management with Next.js
$10001 to $50000
13 weeks
Other Industries
Challenge:
Being a technology-driven company, Proofed recognizes the critical role of technology in its success, especially for scaling content editing while maintaining quality and consistency. A major challenge was the manual nature of order management in their previous system, which limited efficiency and scalability. To overcome this, they developed a new system to automate complex workflows and enhance order management visualization, expecting it to handle 100x more orders.
Solution:
Crafting this web app MVP required a dedicated approach, leveraging the strengths of React and Next.js, complemented by a custom middleware layer. React's component-based architecture allowed us to build a highly responsive and user-friendly interface, perfectly aligning with the app's design and functional requirements. Integrating Next.js elevated the app's efficiency and security. It enabled server-side rendering, a key feature that not only enhanced performance but also added an extra layer of security by handling sensitive data away from the client side.
As Adam Harvey, CEO of Proofed said:
"Pagepro came recommended to us, and we immediately saw them as a partner rather than a service provider. We had very specific requirements on UX and design and the Pagepro team has consistently delivered excellence in front-end development."
Results:
Overall, the results of the project showcased the successful development and implementation of an MVP that met the customer's requirements. The pixel-perfect design, improved order management efficiency, the establishment of clear coding standards, and the introduction of a middleware layer all contributed to a high-quality, secure, and user-friendly platform.

Payhip - Taking Web ECommerce Mobile in 5 Weeks with React Native
$10001 to $50000
5 weeks
E-commerce
Challenge
Payhip, an e-commerce platform, was limited by its web-only presence, missing out on real-time interactions and mobile accessibility for its users. Sellers expressed a need for immediate sales notifications and on-the-go access to revenue data, a gap that competitors with mobile apps were already filling. This lack of mobile presence threatened customer retention and market competitiveness. Payhip recognized the urgency to establish a mobile channel but lacked the in-house capability for mobile app development.
Solution
Payhip opted to develop a cross-platform mobile app MVP using React Native, targeting both iOS and Android users. The app featured real-time sales notifications, light/dark mode, and easy access to comprehensive sales data, addressing the core needs of their sellers. The development was spearheaded by a dedicated Pagepro team, including a project manager, developers, and a QA tester, employing Agile methodologies to adapt swiftly to changes and incorporate feedback.
The outcome was a swift and successful launch of the mobile app MVP within 5 weeks, meeting all the predefined satisfaction criteria. The app's availability on both major platforms significantly enhanced user engagement and operational efficiency for Payhip's sellers. It solidified Payhip's competitive position and opened new avenues for market expansion and customer retention.

They knew that for devs, the interactive environment is much more effective than providing another long documentation. To accelerate a top-tier developer experience, Amplience aimed to create an interactive "Get Started" wizard guide for developers.
Amplience, prioritising core product development, had to strategically allocate their developers across the projects. Striving to maintain velocity across multiple high-priority tasks, the company required a swift and efficient solution that would not compromise the quality of the developer guide. And that’s why they were looking for an experienced React JS Development Company.
Solution:
We crafted a Next.js web application rooted in detailed designs and a comprehensive working prototype Amplience provided us. This app, seamlessly linked to their expansive platform, is propelled by an API they also provided.
We developed the app as a microservice that is displayed in the iframe inside the developer portal, and connected it with their CMS by the API, to fit into the complex platform which is based on smaller microservices.
The recently launched Get Started guide has swiftly generated positive results for the Amplience business within the initial few weeks and secured 8 subscriptions in just a few days.
Accompanying this achievement, the acquisition of several prospects and 3 promising leads underscores the guide's efficacy, particularly given its recent promotional efforts and forthcoming campaign plans.
33 accounts have been successfully established, predominantly by partners who will further disseminate the guide to clients.
Amplience - Creating Smart Docs Portal with React.js
$50001 to $100000
20 weeks
Information Technology
Challenge:
To make their product even more developer-friendly, Amplience decided to replace their existing developer documentation with a richer, more interactive portal. Amplience chose to accelerate development by creating a hybrid application combining Docusaurus and the Amplience Headless CMS.
The Developer Portal had to be a standalone application external to their main page. It should be manageable by Amplience technical authors, localizable, mobile-friendly, and integrated into their CMS. And that's just an overview of the challenge.
Solution:
Amplience provided us with information architecture, wireframes, UX and Visual designs, and a technical prototype. They also delivered a prototype Single Page Application built with Docusaurus that showed examples of navigation, integration of content from Amplience CMS, and integration of Algolia DocSearch.
We were responsible for:
Integrating Docusaurus with Amplience CMS
Front-end Development and styling of the components in line with designs - React.js Development
Testing
Results:
As a result, we provided a front-end for developers portal built with Docusaurus and React, enabling the users to easily start working with the CMS and evaluate the platform and providing them with all the resources to solve their requirements with Amplience's API and management tools.
Even though the documentation is created as a separate platform, the brand identity is preserved.
Good Ticket Company - Lowering Costs with a React.js MVP
$10001 to $50000
14 weeks
Art, Entertainment & Music
Good Ticket Company, managing multiple venues and selling tickets for diverse events, was tired of the high costs and limitations of existing ticketing solutions in the U.S. market, so they decided to invest in a custom platform, built according to their requirements. They turned over to us to take over the whole project from both the project management and development side.
How did we make the development frictionless?
We used future-proof technologies to provide a scalable solution ready for further growth
We proposed further improvements, such as streamlining the customer journey by simplifying the QR code scanning process. Originally designed as a long sequence, we shortened it to just two clicks to help speed up the queue in front of the venue.
We refined the designs to mirror the real-world functionality of the application
We optimised the Scrum framework to accommodate the specific circumstances of this project
We use our previous experience in designing, building and maintaining a ticketing platform
In close collaboration with Good Ticket Company, we developed an MVP for their ticketing platform, focusing on scalability and mobile optimization through the integration of PWA technology.
We’ve built the system with growth in mind. We know they have big plans and we've made sure our platform can grow with them. This robust design will not only serve their current needs but will also pave the way for future expansion.
Please provide your feedback on how Goodfirms has contributed to increasing your visibility among potential clients.
Goodfirms has been a valuable trust signal for Pagepro. Many of our clients are CTOs or product owners who need quick ways to validate a potential partner. They often tell us they’ve checked platforms like Goodfirms before sending a message.
Being listed, reviewed, and recognized on Goodfirms reassures potential clients that we’re not just another dev shop, but a specialized Next.js & Sanity team with a proven track record.
Please introduce your company and describe your role within the organization.
I’m Chris Lojniewski, CEO of Pagepro. We’re a development agency specialised in the React ecosystem, with deep expertise in Next.js, Sanity, and Expo. Our strength lies in helping companies build high-performing, scalable web and mobile apps, and we’re experienced at handling CMS migrations from legacy platforms or other CMSes like WordPress or Contentful to Sanity and Next.js.
My role as CEO is to set the strategic direction, keep the team focused on our values, and make sure we deliver predictable, measurable outcomes for clients.
I stay close to both the technology and the business side so I can translate business needs into technical solutions that achieve their goals.
What inspired the founding of your company, and what is the story behind its inception?
The story of Pagepro started about 15 years ago, when I was still a developer, freelancing mostly for UK clients. I’ve always had a passion for learning new technologies and jumped on JavaScript early, when it was still taking shape as the backbone of modern web development, which opened many doors.
I quickly realised I could grow my work through referrals and repeat projects, but before long, I had more opportunities than I could handle alone. That was the spark that led me to build a team. Scaling revenue wasn’t my main motivation; being able to teach younger developers how to use JavaScript effectively and watching them grow into professionals was.
Over time, we made a conscious choice to specialise. First in React, and later focusing even more tightly on Next.js, Expo, and Sanity. That deep specialisation gave us an edge in solving complex client problems quickly and reliably.
I’ve stayed a lifelong learner throughout this journey, keeping up with both the technology and the business side. Clients appreciate that I can sit in a boardroom and talk about business outcomes, then switch to a technical discussion and recommend solutions that actually fit. That mix of technical expertise and business understanding has shaped Pagepro’s DNA from the very beginning.
What are the core values and principles that drive your company's culture, and how do you ensure alignment with these values across your team?
Our values are growth, courage, and ownership.
Everyone at Pagepro is expected to keep improving in their chosen field. It can be technical skills, communication, or leadership. We back this with training budgets, mentoring, and a culture of knowledge sharing.
We encourage people to challenge assumptions, speak openly, and take on ambitious projects. Mistakes are part of progress, so we expect boldness, not complacency. Every developer “owns” their work. If something breaks, we fix it and learn. Clients trust us because we take responsibility seriously.
We reinforce these values through recruitment (we hire for mindset, not just skills), performance reviews, and daily rituals like retrospectives, where we ask: are we living up to our standards?
Can you highlight some of the key achievements or milestones your company has accomplished since its inception?
When I look back at what we’ve built, a few milestones stand out. We started small, but over the years we’ve delivered more than 200 projects for clients around the world. What makes me proudest is that more than 60% of our revenue now comes from repeat clients, showing we’ve earned their long-term trust.
Some of those partnerships grew into projects on a real scale. GPnotebook, one of the UK’s most trusted medical knowledge platforms, needed a rebuild that could handle over a million monthly users and 100,000 daily page views without slowing down. Learn Squared, an online education company, asked us to migrate their platform to Next.js and Sanity; the result was a 24% revenue increase and a 35% cut in hosting costs. Proofed, a global editing service, turned to us to expand its platform so it could process millions of documents efficiently.
But perhaps the achievement I value most is internal: we’ve grown into a senior-heavy, fully in-house team at a time when many agencies rely on outsourcing. That decision makes us stronger, more consistent, and able to deliver at a level that our clients depend on.
Could you explain your company's business model? Do you primarily operate with an in-house team or utilize third-party vendors/outsourcing?
We usually work in two ways: fixed price per milestone for defined projects, or dedicated teams/retainers for long-term partnerships.
No matter the model, the principle is the same: small, senior teams focused on outcomes. We intentionally work mostly with our in-house team. Our clients hire us for predictable quality, and outsourcing dilutes that. Every developer at Pagepro is trained in our processes, mentored in the React ecosystem, and aligned with our culture of ownership.
How does your company differentiate itself from competitors in the industry?
Unlike many other software agencies, we go deep instead of wide. Our focus is entirely on the React ecosystem, with specialisation in Next.js, Expo, and Sanity. It narrows the scope, but allows us to refine proven processes and build pre-developed products that help us deliver faster and safer. For example, our Next.js + Sanity project starter gives clients a strong foundation for future scalability and growth from day one.
We also bring guarantees and specialised services that others don’t. With our Work Until Green promise, we guarantee 100% green Core Web Vitals across every page. If a page ever slips to red or orange in Google Search Console, we fix it at no charge until it’s green again.
On top of that, we’ve developed pre-built migration scripts that make replatforming from WordPress or Contentful to Next.js and Sanity both faster and safer. And for companies struggling with performance or costs, we offer targeted services like Next.js speed and Core Web Vitals optimisation and Vercel cost optimisation, which often save clients thousands each year.
How would you describe the dynamics within your team, and how do you foster collaboration and teamwork to achieve common goals?
Our culture is closer to a sports team than a software agency: everyone has their role, but the win is shared. We use pair programming, code reviews, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions to keep collaboration strong.
I often use triathlon training as an analogy: each discipline requires focus, but the race is only won if you can transition between them. We run on trust and ownership, with everybody having a say in their projects and the autonomy to make decisions that affect outcomes.
What measures do you take to support the professional development and growth of your employees? Do you offer training programs or opportunities for skill enhancement?
Yes, growth is one of our core values. Every developer gets:
A personal learning budget for courses, certifications, or conferences.
Access to mentorship from seniors and the leadership team.
Internal workshops on Next.js, Sanity, React Native, and AI-driven development.
Opportunities to present at meetups, write case studies, or contribute to open source.
Could you share a notable success story or case study that exemplifies the impact your company has had on a client's business?
One of the most impactful projects we’ve delivered is GPnotebook, the UK’s leading medical knowledge platform. Their legacy system struggled with speed and scalability, which directly affected doctors and students relying on it daily. We rebuilt the platform with Next.js, enabling it to handle over a million monthly users and 100,000+ daily page views while keeping performance consistent. On top of that, we simplified the editorial workflow so the client’s team can keep thousands of entries updated without friction.
We also supported creating Toolbox, a specialized insurance portal for tradespeople by Admiral, the UK’s top insurance provider. The challenge was to quickly launch an MVP web app that could prove value in the market. We delivered a clean, scalable front end with React that let their team validate product-market fit fast and start iterating based on real customer feedback, all without getting bogged down in technical debt.
Another highlight is Proofed, an online editing and proofreading service that needed to scale operations to serve millions of documents globally. We modernized their platform and optimized workflows, helping them manage surging demand without sacrificing quality or turnaround time.
These cases, from healthcare to insurance to professional services, show how our frictionless delivery model adapts across industries. We build systems that scale, reduce costs, and drive business growth.
What industries do you primarily cater to, and do you have a significant percentage of repeat clients? If so, what is the ratio of repeat clients?
We primarily work with digital-native companies, where the web or mobile product is at the core of their business. Over the past few years, that has often meant SaaS and product companies in sectors like fintech, insurtech, publishing, and health and wellness. We also have strong experience in education, e-commerce, and media, where performance and scalability directly influence revenue and growth.
One of the things I value most is that our relationships rarely stop after a single project. Around 90% of our clients return for additional work or long-term support. In an industry where one-off engagements are common, that loyalty is proof that our approach works and that clients see us as a trusted partner rather than a temporary vendor.
What initiatives does your company undertake to foster innovation and stay at the forefront of industry trends? Do you invest in research and development projects?
I’ve always believed that staying ahead means creating space to experiment, not just following what’s already proven. Over the years, that philosophy has shaped how we work.
When AI coding tools started appearing, we didn’t wait for them to mature. We’ve built our own internal prompt libraries and tested environments like Cursor IDE to see how far they could push delivery speed and quality. Once we noticed clients repeatedly facing the same CMS challenges, we created Next.js + Sanity starter kits, which now let us kick off projects with a reliable foundation instead of reinventing the wheel every time.
We also treat our case studies as experiments, documenting approaches like Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and sharing the outcomes so both our team and our clients learn from them. And inside the company, we’ve built a culture of curiosity. Internal hackathons give our developers time to play with new tools, present what they’ve discovered, and inspire others.
Please share some of the most sought-after services that clients approach your company for.
Most of our clients come to us when performance and future-proofing really matter. Next.js development and migrations are at the heart of that. These projects give them faster apps, lower costs, and more flexibility to grow.
We’re also widely known for our Sanity development, where we design custom content workflows and scalable setups that give editorial teams complete control without slowing developers down. On the mobile side, clients trust us for React Native and Expo apps, where we deliver cross-platform products that look and feel truly native.
Another area where we’re sought after are SEO-safe CMS migrations. Replatforming can be risky, and we’ve developed processes that protect rankings and traffic even when moving thousands of pages. And for companies spending heavily on cloud hosting, our Vercel cost optimisation service consistently cuts 20–40% from monthly bills while keeping performance at its best.
How do you build and maintain strong relationships with your clients, and what mechanisms do you have in place for gathering and acting upon client feedback?
We treat clients as partners rather than contractors. To keep communication open, we run weekly stand-ups, set up dedicated Slack channels, and share Loom updates that show both progress and problems in real time.
Feedback is built into our workflow. We use the Alignment & Frictionless Score (AFS), a simple 1–10 check-in that helps us understand how smooth the collaboration feels from the client’s perspective.
When feedback comes in, we don’t wait until the next project to address it. If a client points out friction in our process, we adjust immediately so the partnership keeps moving forward without delays.
How has your company adapted to changes and challenges in the business landscape, and what strategies have you employed to ensure resilience and sustainability?
We’ve been through market downturns, pandemics, and tech shifts, and embraced remote-first and async culture long before it became standard. However, what helped us the most is the desire to learn. Our developers are eager to try out new technologies and solutions, like AI, to stay up to date with the changing market.
What payment structure do you typically follow when billing clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, or Pay per Milestone (phases, months, versions, etc.)?
We mainly work with fixed-price per milestone (clear scope, clear budget) or time & materials retainers for ongoing work. For enterprise clients, we sometimes set up monthly retainers with defined SLAs.
Do you accept projects that meet your basic budget requirements? If yes, what is the minimum budget requirement? If no, what is the minimum budget you have worked with in the past?
Yes, we do. Our minimum budget is $20,000 for a project. This ensures we can assign senior talent and deliver quality. That said, in the past, we’ve taken on smaller $10,000 MVP projects if the scope was laser-focused and the client relationship had long-term potential.
Can you provide an overview of the price range (minimum and maximum) of the projects your company worked on in 2024?
In 2024, our projects ranged from $20,000 to $40,000. Smaller budgets covered focused builds, such as CMS migrations without content creation. Larger budgets covered full-scale platform rebuilds across web and mobile with custom integrations, design systems, and hosting optimization.
What technological capabilities does your company possess, and are there any ongoing or planned investments in technology infrastructure or tools to enhance your services?
Our core stack is the React ecosystem: React, Next.js, React Native, Expo, and Sanity, which we augment with AI solutions like Cursor and v0.
Beyond that, we have a strong expertise in Vercel, Netlify, and self-hosted Next.js setups, and process automation. We’re investing further in AI workflows, advanced testing, and better infrastructure monitoring.
Where do you envision your company in the next 10 years? What are your long-term goals and aspirations for growth and development?
In 10 years, I see Pagepro as the go-to Next.js/Sanity partner for global enterprises. Not the biggest agency by headcount, but the most trusted when outcomes matter.
Our goal is to deliver 2,000 Frictionless Sprints by 2030, proving our process scales across industries and consistently drives results. We want to expand our footprint in the US and UK while being recognized as thought leaders in frictionless development.
We’d also like to keep investing in AI-driven development, making coding faster, cheaper, and more accessible.
But above all, I want Pagepro to remain a place where ambitious engineers and clients achieve things they thought impossible.
