“Rear ended by driver at above highway speeds destroyed my career and lifestyle”
My wife and I were on holiday in the okanagan on the Hwy between osoyoos and Oliver when we were rear ended by a planet express transport truck at over 100kms per hour on July 27th, 2020. The driver; Sarvpreet Mann, was speeding and recklessly driving his tractor and trailer, he hit us so hard that my 2016 F150 was pushed into on coming traffic resulting in a head on collision that spun my truck 180 degrees at which time we were hit again by the tow behind trailer of the tractor/truck. As a result of this accident, my truck was totalled, my wife and I suffered extensive soft tissue injuries in our necks, shoulders, backs and ribs. I had to have surgery on 4 tears in my left shoulder rotator cuff and my bicep tendon. The accident closed the Hwy down for 3.5 hours and everyone involved, except the trucker and the young child he was travelling with had to go to two separate hospitals.
