Powell Transportation has been a solid trucking company for over 25 years. Starting out with a couple trucks in 1993, Barry Powell has grown his south Mississippi fleet while keeping true to a foundation of loyal service and safe, dependable drivers. Now with a fleet of over 70 trucks and terminals in Columbia and Flowood, Powell Transportation has gradually set the standard in the flatbed transportation industry. We have always been an over-the-road, irregular route, flatbed operation and the future looks to remain that way. Our commodities vary but we have long found our niche in the wooden utility pole market. We proudly service mills throughout Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama to help power communities across the nation.
