REPREMAR is a leading Group of Companies engaged in ship agency, freight forwarding, port operations, integral logistics services, cargo GSA for airlines, real estate and special projects.

Our mother company, REPREMAR Shipping, is a well-known port agency and back-office services provider for cruises, container ships, tankers, bulk carriers and feeder vessels operating at any regional port. 

Founded in 1946 and formerly belonged to the Vestey Group (UK), in 1982 was taken over by the Pena family. Under its new ownership, the company was reorganized and experienced a significant expansion of its activities and scope of services. First-class shipping companies have trusted REPREMAR Shipping as its local partner in this region, setting up joint-venture ship agency companies in Uruguay and Argentina, as were the cases of COSCO, CHINA SHIPPING and CSAV back in 1993, 2005 and 2008 respectively.A strong expertise in tankers operating at the SBM in José Ignacio, at the ANCAP Terminal in Montevideo and Bulkers at Nueva Palmira Port.

In addition, we have a well-consolidated leadership in the cruise liner sector, handling approximately 54% of total calls at Montevideo and Punta del Este. In 2010 we founded Punta del Este Tender Services, in order to cope with the increasing demand of services to cruise passengers.
