While running technology startups in New York City over the past decade, we saw first-hand the challenges of recruiting, retaining and scaling software engineering teams in high-cost locations, where you compete directly against giants such as Facebook, Google and Amazon for the most talented developers.

Like many tech founders, we previously tried traditional outsourcing but found it a poor fit for technology-focused organizations want need to control the software development lifecycle.
