Satellite Office

Founded more than 24 years ago by Anita Gödiker in Berlin, Satellite Office is still owner-managed today. In this industry, that's a reason to be proud. But no reason to let up. After all, we would like to set standards in terms of atmosphere, location and humanity for the next few decades. But why has Satellite Office been so successful for so long? Very easily. Because our heart beats to the beat of the time. And deep down there is a feeling that sets us apart: for the market, for trends, for interpersonal vibrations. This feeling, this humanity makes us what we are today - a home port for all those who are deeply looking for deep work.

But one after anonther. 1997: Berlin is booming, the center boils over. Affordable work space is scarce. But at Checkpoint Charlie there is a landlord with a vision. The first satellite office is created - very pragmatically, in order to keep office costs low and enable people to work together. The atmosphere was already dancing happily out of line: cozy warmth instead of cold open-plan offices, human interaction instead of anonymous service according to regulations. Nobody had done it like this before and that was exactly why it was so successful. Back then, with intuition and a sense of aesthetics, we hit the nerve of the times.
