Securely storing and organizing patient information, Medical Records Tracker (MRT) is an iOS and Android mobile app that can hold health records, medication schedules, and doctor’s appointments. Our custom web development refactored the code, fixed bugs, improved the UI, updated key functionalities, and created in-app purchases as well as ads.

OrthoSelect application allows orthodontists and dentists to offer 3D models of their patient's teeth. The software and models are used in treatment planning and specialized cases, such as OrthoSelect’s digital indirect bonding service (DIBS).

OrthoSelect's goal is to help orthodontists with treatment planning and bracket placement. This desktop application enables accurate 3D models of the patient’s teeth to be made. One of the most used features of OrthoSelect is the one that allows for copying and replicating each patient’s teeth in a way that would make orthodontic treatment more efficient. 

Tomographix Quantiva Workstation is a desktop DICOM image processing application. The application of image processing algorithms and 3D modeling in this industry was envisioned to ensure all DICOM’s features are fully exploited. This project uses advanced image and 3D data processing to analyze and display DICOM data. Some of the more significant features integrated into this application include image registration, 3D model generation, denoising, MPR display, and 4D data support.

DICOM is a comprehensive specification of content and structure that defines communication protocols for images in the medical industry. Such files contain image data such as patient ID, site of origin, and attributes. Having full control over DICOM images is not that easy. Firstly, they can’t be viewed directly on a personal computer without a proper interpreter, and the file sizes are massive. In addition, as the data is encoded within the header, it becomes challenging to analyze the patient’s state thoroughly. This workstation solves all of these challenges in an easy-to-use application.

LasikPlus wanted to become thought leaders in their industry by redesigning their website to address the visitors’ needs by focusing on educational information, access, and affordability. Scopic and LasikPlus combined efforts to present a user-friendly and unique meeting point for users hoping to learn more about laser eye services. Based on LasikPlus’s mock-ups, Scopic created a custom theme. Using the plugin Advanced Custom Fields, our web app experts built several templates with different building blocks to match the specifications provided by the client. 

Our team turned LasikPlus’s vision into a fully responsive and engaging website, concentrating on code and visual appearance. The top priority for LasikPlus was to enhance the user experience. Scopic made sure to feature geo-located content – offering the closest vision center on the home page according to where the user is located, adding the possibility of changing the current location via Google Search Autocomplete.

FastPACS DICOM is a web-based image server and FDA-certified iQ-VIEW review workstation. This complex application allows medical professionals to archive, view, and edit DICOM images. It involves the integration of two discrete systems into one intuitive user interface. FastPACS’ software has been deployed in medical offices across the United States, enabling instantaneous access to DICOM images from any web-enabled device.

FastPACS fully uses the digital potential of DICOM to optimize workflows in the medical industry. This user-friendly solution allows professionals to use standards-based archiving, create and import CDs, use digital templates, have unlimited web distribution, and is compatible with Windows, iOS, Linux. Most importantly, FastPACS brings affordability and scalability for smaller facilities.

RxWeb is a comprehensive solution for managing pharmacies. Initially, it was written in ActionScript (Flash, Flex) and Cold Fusion. The company reached out to Scopic to rewrite it from Flash into another programming language. Scopic redeveloped RxWeb, an all-in-one pharmacy software solution. RxWeb is a web-based platform that allows businesses to manage all areas of pharmacy, such as clinical services, stock ordering, care home patient management, patient communications, stock management, and more.

Based on Scopic’s recommendations, Angular and TypeScript were chosen for Front End Development. JHipster, Spring Boot, and Java were selected for the Back End. Our team also used the Bloc pattern, WebSocket with Stomp, and RabbitMQ for the Back End. WebSocket was used to replace the previous Ignite Realtime solution. The recommended technologies significantly improved the app's scalability and authentication support.

Endovantage is a powerful web application that creates detailed 3D visualizations of a patient’s vasculature. The easy-to-use tool aims to assist medical practitioners involved in diagnostic imaging and help them develop the best treatment scenarios for patients.  

Endovantage analyzes patient’s CT scans to generate custom 3D models of the vasculature, providing crucial anatomical measurements and visualizations far more quickly and accurately than physical testing. The Scopic team designed this complex frontend 3D viewer using the ThreeJS library and HTML5 to communicate securely with a pre-existing backend 3D mesh generator. We also developed a unique format to store sensitive medical information within the app.

ByteMe 3D Treatment Viewer is a web application that displays 3D files that allow dentists and orthodontists to oversee dental treatments in patients looking to straighten their teeth. Practitioners can thoroughly analyze each patient’s teeth impressions and store the information related to patient history. Based on this data, doctors can create safe and effective treatment plans that help fix patients’ mild to moderate teeth spacing and crowding issues.

Using the solution developed by Scopic, now dentists can generate a virtual model of the mouth’s hard and soft tissues with a wand-like tool connected to the software. These replicas usually have higher accuracy than molds and can be sent to labs where dentures, bridges, and retainers can be created accurately and quickly. Thanks to ByteMe 3D, practitioners can provide a more comfortable patient experience compared to using traditional mold material.

Mediphany is a medical application that creates personalized video reports for all types of MRI and CT examinations. The goal behind the app was to build an application that would offer clear, personalized video explanations of the patient’s radiology results, using simple everyday language. This powerful software helps create personalized video reports for all types of MRI and CT examinations.  

Thanks to the solution created by Scopic, doctors can use Mediphany’s desktop video recorder to compare two sets of scans side by side, add voiceover and supplementary materials. These video reports provide customers with easy-to-understand explanations of their medical conditions, using 3D models and comparisons to aid learning. The comprehensive 3D models generated by the app demonstrate precisely where the imaging findings are located on the patient’s body.

StocksToTrade is a stock trading application with one of the most appealing user interfaces. Scopic has enjoyed a long-standing collaboration with StocksToTrade and developed the desktop, mobile, and web versions of the app. This is a light web version of a desktop application designed for users to monitor stocks with full feed from the NASDAQ stock market. 

Scopic’s team created the web version from scratch to allow users to connect their real trading accounts through the application and trade on the market. The StocksToTrade web application has a variety of frameworks (Oracle, Ruby, Vue.js, Trade.it, Golang, Heroku, Java, among others) and advanced widget functionality. Some of the widgets developed have predictive mechanisms that enable users to automate their stock trading entirely. StocktoTrade web version is fully optimized for mobile devices. 

NOAA Weather is a real-time weather forecasting application that relies on interactive radars to deliver the highest standards of meteorological data accuracy. Founded in 2007, ZoomRadar™’s vision was to change and improve our weather information access on the web. They aimed to be on the cutting edge of interactive radars’ technology. This type of content would provide people with the opportunity to track live data. They could build this kind of compelling technology only with the help of an experienced and devoted team. So ZoomRadar contacted Scopic and put their ideas into action.

Scopic developed the NOAA Weather custom web application with an appealing design using HTML5, PHP, Javascript, MySQL, and hosting it on AWS servers. The app also has an API integration (embedding forecasts on sites) and a dynamic forecasting system that puts it at the top of the meteorology game in the USA. The website has attracted clients from the largest media companies in the US. It has also helped ZoomRadar to become the largest storm chasing company in the country.

The PBT Marketplace is an online platform that allows breeders from all over the world to buy and sell pets with convenience and transparency. PBT founders wanted to create an eye-catching website with a user interface easy to use for all types of visitors. They wanted to build a marketplace that would be easy to access and reflect transparency for buyers and sellers alike.

They hoped to offer superior services to clients, including the option to schedule a pick-up and sort articles in terms of whole manifests, individual tags, and their test type.

Commercial Passport (CP) is a Canadian company that provides an all-in-one solution for KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures. The web app streamlines the process of digital passport creation, keeping the storage of client-sensitive information secure and improving the flow of data. The Scopic team cooperated with Commercial Passport from the very beginning, creating the software architecture from scratch. 

We developed the application using CSS/HTML/JS stack with JQuery, MySQL, and PHP. Moreover, we used Blockchain technology to ensure safe data storage and implemented some OCR elements into the web. For increased security, the web app also has 2-factor authentication and data encryption. Scopic built the Commercial Passport web application with a seamless UX/UI design across all device types, allowing the process of document exchange and formation to be fast and convenient. 

Shoot and Sell is a program made for Android and iOS that works like a photography sales software. To develop this app, Scopic’s development team uses Java and implemented features that allow users to rotate, crop, and watermark images. Users can also change wall and furniture colors, include prices on single images or just order customized prints from the app.

Page My Cell is a mass notification system that notifies fire departments about emergency incidents. The application is able to detect various disaster tones, process them into usable notifications and distribute them to first responders. SketchList 3D is a modeling desktop application for woodworking professionals. The application was built with features like design, shop drawings, intuitive 3D visualizations, optimized layouts, and allows users to create photorealistic furniture models.  

SmartPosture is an android mobile application created by Scopic’s web team with CSS, node.js and PHP that allows users to monitor and improve their posture through simple app reminders thus avoiding the common symptoms of “text neck”.

RecipeIQ is a mobile recipe analyzer available for iOS and Android that takes your favorite recipes and, using a database search algorithm, gives you all the nutritional facts like macro and micronutrients per serving and by ingredient taken from online or print recipes.  Scopic’s team used React Native to create the app as well as implemented OCR image-processing and a custom JS script to scan photos and websites.

OmniBazaar is a crypto e-commerce marketplace developed by Scopic’s team available for Windows, Mac and Linux using a patented “peer-to-peer-to-peer” technology. OmniBazaar marketplace includes its own built-in cryptocurrency called OmniCoin, so people can buy and sell goods and services in the platform just using OmniCoins, Bitcoins or Ethereum.

OrthoSelect application allows orthodontists and dentists to offer 3D models of their patients’ teeth. The software and models are used in treatment planning and in specialized cases, such as OrthoSelect’s digital indirect bonding service (DIBS).
