Scammers

They don't pay the translators, they aré always making excuses. When they pay, they pay you in drops, the worst thing is that they have important clients. But they are criminals, scammers, they don't pay, don't work for them.
Don't hire them.
As they are scammers they are a lie, so I can only out one star, if I could I would put a ZERO.

Beware of scammers!

I'm a freelance translator and proofreader. During my more than 13 years long career, I've been working with many companies, but never had such bad experience with another company. I worked on two projects for Shakti Enterprise in 2021 and they have never paid me. Avoid this company like the plague! They're just a bunch of scammers.

Lack of payment and promises that are never kept

I was approached by a PM from Shakti Enterprise Translation Services India who sent me a test, a reasonable rate, and then projects. They paid me correctly at the beginning for small projects and kept sending more and more work almost daily. As the payment term offered was 60 days from the delivery of the work, the amounts accumulated and they started delaying the payment more and more.

Summing up a long story of endless emails of collection and promises of payment that were not fulfilled, today they owe me USD 1200, and even after signing a Letter Before Action, they do not pay and do not respond to my collection emails. It is extremely frustrating to visit the Brazilian website of a large conglomerate of Indian companies and see my work exposed without having been paid for it. I didn't need to search much to find several translators in the same situation, some continue to work for this agency in order to receive overdue payments crumbs. A humiliating situation.
