Shield AI is an artificial intelligence robotics company building products for the national security sector and first responders. Our mission is to protect service members and civilians with artificially intelligent systems. Shield AI is the home of Hivemind, an artificial intelligence framework that enables robots to see, reason about, and search the world autonomously. With Hivemind, individual and teams of unmanned systems can learn from their experiences in the real world and across millions of simulated experiences. Shield AI’s Hivemind framework has the potential to be applied to a variety of unmanned systems. The first application of Hivemind is Shield AI’s autonomous quadrotor, Nova. Nova is the leading AI-powered aerial robot capable of autonomous indoor and outdoor ISR operations. Nova produces better mission outcomes by providing ground forces with mission critical information through its ability to autonomously access and explore buildings, dense urban environments and GPS-absent areas while streaming video and maps back to the user.
