Shipping Services was founded by the Irish Export Board in 1959 to facilitate customs clearance services in Liverpool of consignments from Irish exporters. It was found there was a further requirement for storage and UK distribution, and a small warehouse facility was leased. In 1973 the current premises was purchased where we have remained since. A management buy out by Ben Willoughby was completed in 1995.
