Impressive technical work and strong collaboration on a detailed, phased project!

The technical work they produced is good. This is only the first phase of three-phase project with them. Once we launch this phase, troubleshoot it, and go live, we will begin developing phase two.

I would give them an eight out of 10 for project management. At times we had to bring them back to the requirements we agreed on, or had to be extra engaged to make sure they stuck closely to our schedule.

However, there were a few lapses on both sides. Sometimes we were late or behind with our feedback. The phase-one launch was scheduled for April or May, but it’s been delayed until now. This delay was 70–80% our fault. We spent about two months on several technical issues to make sure we got them right, and we added something to the scope that took four months to deliver.

All in all, we are still happy. We’re not in a hurry to launch the project yet. We more concerned with doing things well the first time.

We focused on building a website first and plan to develop an app once that’s operated for a couple of years. Singula team created the site from scratch. They designed the frontend and completed the backend database. We provided them with a detailed scope of work, including the list of functions we expected them to deliver.

These functions were very specific and straightforward. They involved a system for publishing tenders and managing their publication, including capturing them, uploading them into the database on the website, and making them available for sharing or download on a fee basis.

We also worked together on the branding. I gave them high-level guidelines and they developed a couple of templates for us to review, amend, or update.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Their ability to understand and relate to clients is unique. We’ve communicated with several developers and they’ve lacked this same level of understanding.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

None, they’ve done a great job. The delay was majorly due to our fault.

Despite minor delays and time zone issues, the team delivered a quality project on time.

Though there were some delays due slight issues, but the team was able to finish the project pretty well and deliver the outcome that matched our expectations. The team had some very efficient developers who understood the requirements and came up with ways to implement the same.

Efficient App with a Reliable Team

We frequently met during the project's design phase to discuss the app goals and objectives, we workshopped ideas and issues, then we began the research phase of the project, and we came up with an experience flow for an app user. Once that was complete we got design samples and very accurate Hi-Fi designs. Once the design was settled it was time for development to take over, we had a version of the app nearly weeks after. The team was very reliable and we were well informed of what goes on behind the scenes.

We interacted with a few different team members, from design, development, and administration. Our PM worked to keep everyone in the loop.

The app upon completion was gorgeous and efficient. It works exactly as intended. Everyone who has experience with it has been very pleased by the results.

I am the Marketing Director at Innovative Spine and Pain, we created an app to streamline patient referrals and to provide excellent patient care in a timely manner. For so long the only way to request an appointment with a physician is to call the office, be placed on hold for an unspecified amount of time, and hope for the best. We know that this process can be daunting which is why we’ve created a unique solution for patients and physicians alike. Using the app takes seconds, all we request is your contact information and a reason for the appointment.

The app allows you to choose your physician based on the diagnosis you’ve provided. After the process is complete your physician and the office staff will receive a notification. Once received, we will give you a call to work out the details.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

The most impressive quality of Singula team is its team. During design they really heard our ideas and implemented them well. Our PM was terrific, diligent and effective. They described each development step in detail, we learned a lot from them. They made sure that our vision, timeline, and goals were met. They were always available to answer any questions we had.

Singula helped us build a website for one of our local associations, in which we contribute to their alliance work. Before hiring them, we have build a WordPress site, but there were continuous security issues. Our site was hacked several times, and malware was installed.

Keeping the website secure and keeping the information updated was difficult and challenging, given all the other responsibilities in my primary role. We needed Singula to help us find a solution where the security would be assured, and the updates would be easy to make.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Singula’s familiarity with the core platform code has been one differentiating factor for us. It was one of the factors that made us decide to go with them. Their positive problem-solving approach is another impressive aspect.

From vision to launch, this project saw efficient app development with expert oversight.

This project began from vision, to development planning, creation of the team, website development, screen development, through creation of four comprehensive intelligent apps (two in Android and two in iOS), through beta testing and go live.

Every milestone of the project was monitored, achieved in a timely and sometimes more than timely fashion. Virtual reviews of projects were obtained on a routine basis and the accessibility of the entire Singula team team was exemplary.

Singula Team developed our Node.js app, integrated API, with smooth weekly sprints.

We did the design ourselves and handed it over to them so that they could develop a Node.js application. Integration with our backend was part of the project; we provided Singula Team with an API to interact with. We had one main developer, a project manager, and a key account manager. The team was consistent throughout the project, which was very helpful.

We did weekly sprints and it worked well overall. Initially, they overestimated some things and we missed some sprint reviews, but in general, things worked out quite nicely. We used a combination of Jira, Slack, Google Hangouts and Git, so from a tools perspective, everything worked just fine.

Our goal was to establish an extremely efficient and streamlined workflow for our doctors. We needed a web application for our doctors so that they could get a good overview of their patients, interact with patients individually, and provide them with drug prescriptions, referrals, and coaching.

We had frequent and very transparent communication with all members of the team, from project managers to developers, and also with the DevOps specialists that appeared on an as-needed basis. This is actually one of the key things that makes this vendor stand out.

Seamless Team Integration and Proactive Account Management

Team members provided have integrated seamlessly with our team and worked well. We've been able to add extra resource where it's needed within a week or so, and ramp them down when done. Selecting new team members is easy, with a very high hit rate of staff proposed to those selected to join our team. Any issues have been discussed proactively and resolved well.

The account management has been great. Proactively seeking out any issues to be addressed, and providing the right people quickly when needed. As a team augmentation project, project management of their delivery has been less of a direct concern, though they have provided a project manager to oversee our engineering coordination who has worked very well.

Successful App Launch with Outstanding Design and Swift Bug Resolution

They’ve been able to help us launch our app on the date that we were shooting for. During our user testing, we’ve gotten very positive feedback on our app’s design. To be specific, people say that our app has a clean and intuitive design and offers a relatively smooth experience.

Fantastic Experience majorly with the Team

The quality is great, and the app is fast and dynamic. The client was fully satisfied with the app, so I would definitely use them again. All issues and problems are communicated very openly

We are on track to get to the MVP of this project in just 4 months. I have made numerous changes to the project since Day 0 and the team has swiftly incorporated these changes into the product. Describe your project in brief

We had a very large partner start to do business with us. Because of this new agreement, we started to see a significant amount of development work come through to us. We were worried that we couldn’t scale up our development team quickly enough, so we searched for an outsourced partner to augment our staff.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

They have a high degree of professionalism in their interactions and good organization. Their team differentiates itself through its management approach; their developers stay a long time and have more experience than other partners we’ve had.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

Not really. For us, they were very good.
