No talent. Fake U.S. company, all outsourced to cheap India devs. Never delivered. NOT TRUSTED

Scam Operation Disguised as U.S. Company – Avoid SDI Software
In Sept 2024, I hired SDI Software (Software Developers Inc.) for a $147,700 CAD contract (CarHive Auction, CarVAL, Engine Inspection). Terms: $20,000 deposit, rest on delivery within 6 months. Instead, they pressured me into paying $59,000 CAD ($44,000 USD). By Feb 2025, even their own task sheet showed less than 50% complete—two modules not even started. They never delivered a single line of usable code. Draft contracts were traps: outsourcing to India, no liability, no refunds. I offered to let them keep $10,000 or split 50/50; they refused and threatened me. They present a U.S. face but hide behind offshore labor. Google reviews closed. BBB profile shows “not accredited.” Stay away—this company cost me money, time, and market opportunity.

Describe your project in brief

The contract was to build online used auction in 5-6 months with contract $20000 down payment and $100000 upon delivery as soon as start the project in second month phone calls start to get more money anyways deadline was February 2025 and they only finished 50% of the first contract there was two other software for value of $27000 they did not even start in 6 month so I stop the project because I did not find they be able to finished the project and my money will never come back I ask refund or even ask them to refund 50% of $59000 CAD and I don't even want the code they refused (software they where building was infringement to other software and copying the Trade Rev which has several patent they said they will find a way to avoid infringement but all they did was just coping that website

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

There is no real intention to finish project but really committed to get the all money there is no real talent to design a software they hire cheap developer from India to just copy others
