Their expertise, clarity, and partnership mindset made a complex transition feel seamless.
They introduced infrastructure as code via Helm and Terraform for consistency across environments, and integrated observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki to improve monitoring and alerting. Finally, they ensured smooth internal adoption with detailed documentation and hands-on training sessions for our team.
What was the project name that you have worked with Spellbind?
Kubernetes Implementation for SaaS Infrastructure.
What service was provided as part of the project?
Cloud Computing Services, DevOps
Describe your project in brief
We brought in Spellbind to help us modernize our infrastructure and address long-standing bottlenecks in our deployment and scaling processes. Our backend services were running across a fragmented set of virtual machines, which had grown organically over time and became increasingly difficult to manage. Deployments were inconsistent, scaling was manual, and outages during updates were becoming more frequent.
The primary goal was to migrate our SaaS platform to a Kubernetes-based infrastructure, enabling us to scale more efficiently, reduce downtime, and streamline the development-to-deployment lifecycle. We also needed help creating an environment where infrastructure could evolve alongside our product without causing disruptions to our users.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
Spellbind doesn’t just “do Kubernetes.” They make sure it works for your business. Their team brings a strategic mindset, helping you look beyond implementation to think about performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
Due to the complexity of our legacy infrastructure, some phases took a bit more time than originally scoped.
