Sphinx Solutions is a CMMI level-3 appraised Mobile & Web App Development Company focusing on the core values of businesses. Our main goal is to deliver results with quality, excellence, and innovation. We helped businesses across the globe (more than 500+ and counting) to develop their product with top-notch technologies like AI, Blockchain, IoT, etc.
Being the Founder & CEO of Sphinx, I help both my employees and clients to get the best out of their efforts. I’m accountable for corporate decisions and make sure to create an encouraging work culture for our employees so that they can deliver the best values to our customers.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
After working with some organizations, I started my entrepreneurial journey back in 2010. My main objective to start this company is to deliver great values to the organization with innovation and digital transformation.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have an in-house team of more than 80 employees. We don’t outsource our work; rather, we work as an outsourcing company for big brands.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
We are housed with skilled Project Managers, Developers, QA Tester, and Creative Designers. We provide dedicated teams to every individual project to deliver the product on time. We’ve also Inside Sales & Marketing team who help our clients to empower their products on Digital Mediums.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We mainly provide mobile app development, custom software development, blockchain app development, and web app development services to various industries like Healthcare, Education, Software, and many more. Yes, our clients are repetitive and are associated with us post-development too.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a mobile app.
It depends upon analyzing the requirements of the client and identifying the complexity of the project, the number of developers required, development hours, and type of testing.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a mobile app?
This also depends upon the project’s complexity, platform, and technology used. Generally, an app deserves 2 to 3 months to perform seamlessly.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a mobile application?
Major parameters include target audience, geography, and type of app and moreover, which technology the product owner wants.
Which platform do you suggest your clients to begin with when they approach you with an idea (Android or iOS) and why?
Generally, we suggest the platform once we understand the client’s target geographical area, audience, budget, and functionalities. If the target market is U.S. and target audiences are the youngsters, then we recommend iOS Platform. If budget is the constraint, then we suggest for Hybrid/Cross Platform to the client.
But we advise Native Platform if our client wants a stable option. Some functionalities can be done on the native platform only. So it’s really crucial to understand client’s needs before suggesting any platform.
Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app?
I already answered in the previous question. We always advise the platform that suits the client’s requirements.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a mobile application?
We decide budget on our resources, the number of working hours, the platform of the app, app’s complexity, and functionalities. We’re also flexible with clients to achieve their goals.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We have made it easy for our clients. Our “Pay per Milestone” made it easier for them to handle their business easily and accomplish their business endeavors.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We certainly take projects that meet our basic budget requirement. The minimum requirement is USD 5000 for any development project.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2019?
We are growing in terms of manpower and using efficient tools for software development. So, keeping in mind to offer the best solutions, our minimum price range starts from USD 5000 and maximum it goes to USD 10,000. However, it all depends on the project type, time requirement, and needed feature & functionality.
Which business model do you suggest to your clients enabling them to generate revenue from mobile applications? Why?
Clients usually come with software development for B2C. In my opinion, they can opt for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS-based model) too to expand their offerings. This is the best option for capturing the B2B market.
