Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
I am the co-founder of Starkflow, a platform for hiring full-time vetted SaaS talent for remote positions. We target only premier talent who has been working at previously powerful companies. We also handle PEO services.

I have a background in eCommerce and I have built my own team selling electrical wire and cable online with a team based in India. When I met my co-founder, who is from Armenia but based in India, we decided to build Starkflow.
What is the story behind starting this company?
It all started when two people found themselves doing the same thing; we were both running remote shows in India. At some point, we realized that the market had a huge demand for a better alternative to freelancers-remote teams.

Remote teams are highly demanded throughout the world, but the issue is locating talent and understanding how they bridge the skill gap. We view building remote teams as a solution, high domestic labor costs, and time-consuming local talent sourcing.
What are your company’s business model – in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have our own network of talent and in-house sourcing team to best suit our clients’ needs.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
What sets us apart from our competitors are:
  • Full-time candidates
  • Strict vetting, and referral-based hiring
  • Extensive talent pool
  • Dedicated account manager
  • Fixed fee based on talent
  • Payroll & Payments
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
Our main focus is SaaS industries, however, we are open to opportunities from all industries.

Around 50% of our clients use our services for the second or even the third time.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
Most often we are approached for remote candidate sourcing, PEO services, and building remote teams.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Since half of our clients come back, I would say it’s 8-9 out of 10, and we’re continuously improving.

We qualify every candidate through a multi-step verification process before they are matched and assigned to work on a live project, ensuring that our clients get exactly what they need.

Since our candidates come from diverse backgrounds and have experience working at top companies, we provide our clients with candidates that already have experience working on similar projects as they do, thus bringing value from day one.

Our candidates work full-time on one project rather than working part-time on multiple projects, giving all their focus to customers’ projects.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We assign a dedicated account manager for each client to look after their general project needs. Thus, unlike others, we are here even when the hiring process is over.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We follow a fixed fee based on a talent model, with transparent pricing, so our clients don't have to go through the entire process of rate negotiation and other formalities.

Our monthly subscription model makes things easier. Our clients skip the hassle of sending payments individually and don't have to worry about KYC/AML.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Yes, we charge $899 per month for hiring a candidate through us.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
It’s from $12000 to $100000.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
Our goal is to get on the inc 500 in the next 10 years, with 10,000 candidates saddled with clients and hit a revenue number of 10,000,000.00 USD.

I found Starkflow on LinkedIn when I was looking for someone to build out some AI-driven tools on my Ecommerce website. As a developer myself, I needed a team that could do more than just basic web development. The team at Starkflow was able to build some amazing calculators and other user tools that have significantly improved the function of my website. I highly recommend working with these folks.
