StartCo

StartCo is a Romanian digital platform that handles company formation and
ongoing accounting for entrepreneurs, freelancers and small businesses.
Everything is delivered online, from the first registration document to the
monthly books.

Businesses come to StartCo for one of two reasons: they are starting out and do
not know where to begin, or they already trade and want the accounting and
paperwork handled somewhere simpler than a traditional firm.

Services

• Company formation for SRL and PFA, handled end to end with the Romanian
Trade Register
• Monthly bookkeeping, tax filings and financial reporting
• Invoicing, including compliance with the Romanian e-Factura system
• Business bank account opening
• Company changes: shareholders, registered office, activity codes and other
amendments
• Advisory on taxes, activity codes and filing obligations

How the service works

Every client is assigned a dedicated accountant and works with the same person
throughout, through the StartCo web app and mobile apps for iOS and Android.
The accounting team is made up of accountants licensed by CECCAR, the Romanian
body of chartered accountants. Because the process is fully digital, clients can
register and run a Romanian company from anywhere, including from outside
Romania.
