Surface

Right now, someone’s searching online for a business like yours. We help them find you.

Surface is a digital agency for Australian small and medium businesses. New website or existing one, we bring the right customers to it through search and ads.

David Rymarz started Studio 21 in 2006. Twenty years on, Studio 21 has become Surface. Same team, new name. We’re family-owned, based on the Gold Coast and work with businesses right across Australia. David has spent his career building websites and getting them found. In-house and agency-side, that’s meant working with sole traders, growing Australian businesses and global brands like 2XU, Habitat and Urban Outfitters.

How we help: • Creative: websites built to rank and convert, on WordPress, Shopify or custom code • Search: Google rankings and local visibility, plus getting cited in Google AI, ChatGPT and Gemini • Ads: Google and Meta campaigns measured in enquiries • Optimisation: speed, mobile and conversion work that turns more visitors into calls

Our focus is high-intent search. That means people ready to call, email or fill in your contact form. Traffic looks nice in a report. Enquiries pay the bills. There are no lock-in contracts. Each month you get a plain-English report and a personal video walking you through it. You deal directly with David and his team, not a revolving door of account managers.

We treat every client’s business like our own. Clients see the results, so they tend to stay for years. Over time, that turns into real working relationships, not just rankings. We’re a Google Partner, and we’re rated five stars on Google and Trustpilot.

If your website isn’t pulling its weight, send us a message. We’ll record a free 10-minute video showing what we see and where the opportunities are.
