Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
My name is Shrishail Rana, and I founded Systweak back in 1999. Since then, I have served as the CEO of the organization.
What is the story behind starting this company?
The story is quite interesting for any computer nerd. The 90s in India brought home computers when I got my hands on a Windows 98 PC. In the beginning, the computer worked flawlessly. However, after 3 months, it started to slow down; this made me anxious and forced me to search for a solution. During this time, I learned about overclocking and how extra voltage can speed up the CPU. I experimented with the PC, and to my surprise, the PC started working like before. At the same time, I figured out that if a lot of RAM is allocated to the system, memory needs to be freed up; doing so manually isn’t easy. Therefore, to simplify things, I created a small freeware program, “Shrishail’s Memory Optimizer.” When people felt RAM was low, they started using the program. The response I received was overwhelming, and with this, Systweak came into existence with its first product, Memory Zipper Plus which was the number one optimizer.
Everyone has a story to share. Whatever one has gone through helps create the present and future. For me, the slowing down of the system in such a short span motivated me and drove me to create a solution that would benefit me and the masses.
What are your company’s business model–in-house team or third-party vendors/ outsourcing?
When it comes to technological demands, we’ve worked with every combination and have realized working with an in-house team is the best. An in-house development team brings a solid understanding, intense project engagement, and increases development control. Moreover, when trusted people with comprehensive experience work together, communicating ideas becomes easy, enhanced security, complete control over the project, and unlimited post-delivery support can be achieved.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
To stand out from a sea of competitors, a few tricks up your sleeve - being recognized by the target audience, providing unique and different solutions, ongoing communication with the customer, quality of product, trained technical staff, competitive pricing, customer feedback, refund policy, after-sale support, and strategic planning are required.
To beat the competition, think of yourself as a potential client and ask what would make you choose your company over your competitors? How does your business stand out compared to current players? You will automatically have an extra edge and competitive advantage over the competitors when you get an answer.

Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
Whether you are Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS user, we offer services for all platforms that help keep the device clutter-free, optimized, and guarded against malware. We also design screen recorders, photo organizers, duplicate cleaners, and other outstanding products that have been rated no #1 on Google Play Store and Mac App Store.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Measuring customer satisfaction doesn't have to always be in graphs and figures. It’s relatively simple if you keep changing the product as per customers' feedback and put in more time and effort to understand customer needs. You will always have many satisfied customers.
With this in mind, our company always creates action-based plans. To measure the level of satisfaction, we create in-app survey forms, send emails to perform customer surveys, volunteer feedback, and most importantly, never presume our time is more valuable than our customer’s time.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
Whether we deal with clients or individuals, we always keep one thing in mind, to be accessible. Aside from that, we are flexible, open to suggestions, and we always keep our staff well equipped. Our customer service team ensures clients and customers are not just satisfied but are genuinely happy and willing to work with us.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions, etc.)
Service industry is Client-based, and the Client is the King! We are always open to discussing the payment modes that work for the clients. Having said that, we try to break projects on deliverables and define our milestones. We bill the customers on the basis of such milestones so that the client is able to follow the development along the delivery path, and is able to see the project take shape.
We prefer to work on a licensing model, where the client is able to pay for what they use and the cost of acquisition is not high in the phases when the project is just deployed or is still under the POC mode.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If not, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We are open to projects of any size till the time they solve a problem. We believe in democratizing the Software Industry, where no project is small if the challenge that it solves is big enough. One of our projects had a total budget outlay of only $12,000 but it did help us solve a big challenge for the client, and ultimately helped us bag a larger contract!
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects you catered to in 2021?
Our projects started from $20k. We do not have an upper range as most large projects continue for a duration longer than one year.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
Over the next 10 years, I bet you will see my company growing and impacting digital lives. My team of developers will create more world-class system optimization, security, and other productivity tools that will make life easy. Also, when looking for optimization utilities, my company will be the first choice.
Everyone knows we get what we focus on, but most people forget this as they keep themselves occupied with everyday problems. With a shared vision and strategic planning, we are moving towards our goal and will soon reach from where we are to where we want to go!
