TaxKitab is an accounting, tax and compliance consultancy based in Pune, India, working with businesses across India and with companies in the US, UK, UAE, Europe, Australia and Canada.

For overseas clients we handle accounting and bookkeeping. That means transaction recording and classification, bank and credit card reconciliation, accounts payable including supplier follow-up, accounts receivable including chasing your customers on overdue invoices, month-end close, and monthly management reporting. We do not file overseas tax returns — that stays with your own accountant or a licensed local firm, working from books we keep current and review-ready.

We work differently from most offshore providers on one point that matters. Your data does not move. We work inside your own accounting software on your own subscription — QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, Sage or whatever you already run — as named users with permissions you set. Your source documents stay in your own cloud folder. Nothing is transferred to our systems, every action stays visible in your own audit log, and ending an engagement means removing a user rather than requesting deletion.

For Indian clients and for foreign companies with an India subsidiary, we handle the full compliance calendar: bookkeeping, GST, TDS, payroll including PF, ESIC and professional tax, ROC filings, and coordination of the statutory audit. Indian law requires the statutory audit to be signed by an independent practising Chartered Accountant who is not the firm maintaining the books, so we coordinate that with an independent CA rather than performing it ourselves.

Every engagement starts with a written scope and quote before any work begins, and a signed engagement letter covering confidentiality. We bill to a business account and never request payment to a personal account.
