TranSpeed Transcription

TranSpeed Transcription Service was founded in 1996 in Lawrenceville, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. We started out small, accepting cassette tapes that were dictated by physicians and picked up by our office courier from a few physicians. We transcribed the notes and printed the reports out on paper for our clients. Our courier delivery service would then drop off reports to the clients offices within 24 hours. Then we advanced and purchased a call in Dictation system that would alleviate the cassette tapes. Physicians could now call in and dictate by phone into our server. Reports were transcribed in our office and we then had access to the Internet, which allowed us to email documents back to the physicians offices for print out and filing. We then moved our office to Snellville, Georgia and made even more changes. We became more advanced with DSL and wireless internet, a new digital dictation system, new computers. Then there were more technological advances with smartphones, ipads and the introduction of electronic medical records. Times and technology have changed over the years ever so quickly. However, through it all; the changes and transitions, TranSpeed has progressed forward, always continuing to put the customer first, always accommodating the needs of the customer and always delivering worry free, high quality, quick turn around, secure, and always at a low price transcription to our customers.
