Later, he worked with us in a maintenance capacity: if we had an issue, his team was looking at it remotely, making changes and tweaking things on their end. His customer service is impeccable and he's a great communicator. Unlike some other IT vendors, he never made me feel I lacked any technical skills or knowledge.
The first time our system crashed he spent hours trying to get it up and going, and he finally did. Whenever we had a major issue, either Iman or someone else would arrive within the timeframe they gave me. With time, our systems became stronger and we didn't have too many major issues. We've worked together for many years and he's always had incredible attention to detail. When his practice got bigger, we had to create a ticket when we needed services, but I always had direct contact with Iman (I usually called him because I prefer that to emails).

Nowadays everyone needs to be up and running right away, but because we were dealing with people's lives, it was more important to us. They knew it was imperative for us to get issues resolved as quickly as possible because of our patient flow coming in, and they were always there for us. We haven't received IT services from anyone other than Iman, so I don't have much to compare him to, but I feel very lucky.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
Everything they did was wonderful. Just around the time we closed our practice they started getting into some new avenues, but we didn't get a chance to experience those. They're definitely spreading their wings and continuing to grow.

I’ve been very happy with our level of communication. We speak primarily through HelpDesk Live Chat, though we also rely on phone calls and email. Their project manager readily assigns technicians to assist with any issues that develop.

We are hiring more employees in China and it seems Chinese government has different laws in Information Technology (such as VPN), so it would be helpful (but not required) if they had a branch or partner in China to get familiar with those regulations.

nitially the project was managed by our project manager Iman. They follow ITIL project planning process which includes comprehensive project plans, weekly sync-ups, testing, hybrid testing and final completion.
We had a chance (through a channel) to provide feedback at the end of each phase of the project. Our feedback was documented, and necessary actions or adjustments were made.
Later, for our support and maintenance we had 4 different ways to report issues: chat, phone, email, and our IT management portal. We also had our strategic business reviews with our client success manager Kayvan.

In the end, we only had two months to find a new office and move. TruAdvantage came in and helped us pack everything up, and gave us an estimate of how much the move would cost. They monitor our system daily, and I get monthly reports telling us how our computers are doing. I deal with sensitive billing and insurance, and my biggest concern is having our system compromised. They monitor it so carefully, and keep up with changes to industry requirements. I appreciate them keeping me updated to any changes we need to make. Communication is the most important part of our arrangement. Keep them abreast of your needs, and be open to their suggestions. They may come up with solutions you didn’t even think of.

The establishment of the new server infrastructure entailed the procurement and configuration of four new servers at our office, each serving distinct functions: a domain controller that functions as a central database for all user and resource information, a file server, an email server hosting Exchange 2010 for email and calendar services, and a utility server serving as a print server.
To enhance data security, a new backup process was introduced, incorporating a local NAS device and offsite cloud-based backup with real-time alerts and reporting capabilities.
All 25 members of our staff were equipped with standardized Dell laptops during an onboarding process that seamlessly transferred their data and settings from personal computers to company-issued devices.
Furthermore, all staff members were provided with formal email accounts, and the email server was fortified with third-party anti-spam and security measures.
A new network infrastructure was designed and implemented, with the SonicWall serving as the primary security appliance. Additionally, authorized staff members were granted remote access via VPN for enhanced connectivity.
Following the completion of the project, TruAdvantage's comprehensive IT management program, known as totalCARE, was implemented organization-wide. This program offered proactive support, a responsive helpdesk, server maintenance, backup services, and strategic guidance for IT planning and security.
In terms of organizational processes, prior to the project, we had no IT infrastructure in place. However, after its completion, we established structured procedures for document sharing, email communications, calendar management, task tracking, project coordination, and remote access. All staff members were standardized on the same IT systems, ensuring uniformity and security.
The board and management team gained peace of mind from knowing that a top-tier IT team was overseeing our organization's security, implementing measures such as password management, antivirus protection, reporting, and alert systems.
With the ability to securely access our file server, documents, email, and task management platform via VPN, our staff experienced heightened productivity and organization.
The workflow throughout the project, from the sales process to the initial audit and project implementation, was seamless and efficient. The establishment of the new server infrastructure entailed the procurement and configuration of four new servers at our office, each serving distinct functions: a domain controller that functions as a central database for all user and resource information, a file server, an email server hosting Exchange 2010 for email and calendar services, and a utility server serving as a print server.
To enhance data security, a new backup process was introduced, incorporating a local NAS device and offsite cloud-based backup with real-time alerts and reporting capabilities.
All 25 members of our staff were equipped with standardized Dell laptops during an onboarding process that seamlessly transferred their data and settings from personal computers to company-issued devices.
Furthermore, all staff members were provided with formal email accounts, and the email server was fortified with third-party anti-spam and security measures.
A new network infrastructure was designed and implemented, with the SonicWall serving as the primary security appliance. Additionally, authorized staff members were granted remote access via VPN for enhanced connectivity.
Following the completion of the project, TruAdvantage's comprehensive IT management program, known as totalCARE, was implemented organization-wide. This program offered proactive support, a responsive helpdesk, server maintenance, backup services, and strategic guidance for IT planning and security.
In terms of organizational processes, prior to the project, we had no IT infrastructure in place. However, after its completion, we established structured procedures for document sharing, email communications, calendar management, task tracking, project coordination, and remote access. All staff members were standardized on the same IT systems, ensuring uniformity and security.
The board and management team gained peace of mind from knowing that a top-tier IT team was overseeing our organization's security, implementing measures such as password management, antivirus protection, reporting, and alert systems.
With the ability to securely access our file server, documents, email, and task management platform via VPN, our staff experienced heightened productivity and organization.
The workflow throughout the project, from the sales process to the initial audit and project implementation, was seamless and efficient. At the project's outset, we were presented with a detailed project plan outlining tasks and timelines, and we subsequently held weekly progress meetings with our project manager.
Upon project completion, we conducted a comprehensive review meeting to assess the project's overall outcome. Additionally, we were provided with a survey to rate various aspects of the project, which was highly commendable.
Subsequently, we continued to benefit from TruAdvantage's totalCARE support process, which included live helpdesk support via phone, email, chat, and their support portal. The support team consisted of live helpdesk engineers, a primary engineer, and an account manager
