What was the idea behind starting this organization?
The vision was to build a consulting-led technology services company, that can transform businesses through custom-made digital solutions by improving their operational efficiency and increasing their bottom-line.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
Everything at Unified Infotech is in-house, and we don’t leverage on third party vendors/outsourcing. We believe that it is much easier to ensure project success if the team is in-house and working side by side.

The marketing department at NBC Universal approached us with two problems:

Background

OpenReel used to run a video production studio that was based out of New York City. During their growth phase, they realized how resource-intensive and expensive video shoots were. Their hands-on experience in the space showed them an opportunity to streamline the process of creating professional-quality video content. The idea was formed to create a SaaS platform that will make it easier and cheaper for businesses to create video content. In 2017, Unified Infotech was chosen as the technology partner after impressing the client with our unique consultative approach during pre-sales where numerous ideas were brought to the table.

The Solution

After in-depth research, we customized a highly sophisticated platform with a patented remote video technology through which you can remotely control the resolution, frames-per-second and stabilizer settings on the Subject’s device. Users can view volume, battery and connectivity to ensure a successful shoot. You can capture multiple angles for high production value, as well as record a panel with up to four different Subjects on disparate devices in multiple locations. The solution also consisted of a smart piece of technology that would turn the Subject’s device into a teleprompter during filming, allowing the Subject to read from a script during live shoots. Collaborators can adjust scrolling speed and font size to the Subject’s preferences, as well as make script edits in real time.

Over the years, the idea took the shape of a full-blown, end-to-end video SaaS platform, where besides video shooting, the end user can also edit, stream and market the videos.

In January 2020, Dr. Ryan (The Founder) contacted Unified Infotech for a Request for Proposal (RFP) to completely transform their current platform into a modern-day application, harnessing the power of the latest technologies. He wanted a seamless user experience, with added functional elements for engagement and a highly sophisticated admin backend console. Unified Infotech was chosen as the technology partner on the basis of a comprehensive presentation prepared by the business analyst team. We highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of the competitors, gave suggestions of new functional elements backed by data and designed a high-level information architecture of the proposed system. Additionally, we developed a detailed blueprint of execution, security, and uptime.

Our Solution

Unified Infotech custom-built a robust and highly scalable eLearning solution using cutting-edge technologies, along with a best-in-class user experience. Micro-level competitor analysis was conducted and the new platform’s user interface was integrated with relevant and popular functional elements. A custom interactive video player was built so that students could effortlessly participate in quizzes, answer queries and take notes, all while watching videos. Some of the major functional modules which were introduced in the new system alongside a fresh user interface were:

The Challenge

CQ Fluency required an efficient tool that would integrate with the existing translation management system to boost customer engagement and offer personalized assistance from a single platform. They partnered with Unified Infotech to build a web-based middleware application that will empower their customers to personalize the platform based on their business requirements.

After a thorough Request For Proposal process which included ideas and scalability recommendations, Unified Infotech was chosen as the preferred service provider to build a robust solution.

Once the discovery workshop and documentation process were completed, we decided on developing a central web-based customer touchpoint, which eventually brings all aspects of the customer lifecycle under one ecosystem. Additionally, this solution enables CQfluency to continuously enhance their user’s experience, while efficiently centralizing all the customer actions on a single platform.

A scalable and robust web application with an extremely intuitive and enterprise-grade user experience was engineered by Unified Infotech. The application allowed CQ Fluency’s customers to connect with Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) through Simple Objective Access Protocol (SOAP) APIs from their existing translation management system, and access all of its functionalities within the middleware platform based on the business requirements. Additionally, an admin console was built for the effective management and administration of this application. This complies with their business policies and provides business intelligence reports on key data points.

eShipper's website UI/UX design was outdated and the web pages were not optimized. This resulted in a poor online presence and prevented them from having an effective marketing and customer acquisition tool.

Unified Infotech employed a strategic, research-based and data-driven process to analyze competitors, define user personas, and design a user-friendly website with a storytelling approach. Industry best-practices were deployed in the entire journey to develop a robust product that can deliver the desired results. Wineshipping, America’s largest wine distribution organization, reached out to us to improve lead generation and the on-site sales validation process. They wanted a fresh, interactive and lively feel for the whole website. Wineshipping wanted us to deliver a unique website that not only attracts users and guides them throughout their user journey, but also converts and leaves the user with a fresh memory. We kickstarted the process with a strategy that would help our client accomplish their goals in the liquor industry and strengthen their standing in the competitive market.

The Challenge

Since the current website had issues acquiring and maintaining leads, the goal was to develop an optimized website that appealed to users, increased engagement and boosted conversion rates. The primary focus was on the UI and UX of the website, to maximize the user’s journey and experience.

The Approach

To fulfill our client’s goals, we approached the challenges based on the data derived from our competitor analysis, identifying the target market and defining the user journey with a storytelling approach. We used different marketing tools such as SEMRush, Moz and Google Analytics to understand the user’s needs and loopholes. We applied the industry best-practices and delved deeper into their SWOT Analysis, Empathy Mapping and Information Architecture (IA) of the website along with defining the UI guideline. We moved on to documenting the hand-drawn sketches and high-fidelity wireframes for the website.

The Solution

Through data analytics and some intel from our client, we were able to determine Wineshipping’s competition in the market. Our focus was to create a website that features a top notch UX/UI and acts as an efficient sales validator. Subsequently, we defined the information architecture and identified the elements of the website. Our in-house information architecture experts employed the card sorting process to label elements and meet the business objectives, completing the sales funnel in the process. The research on the end-users gave us ample ideas about the kind of intuitive design the target demographic desires. We designed and developed a website that stood out from the company’s top five competitors.
