A web application that was developed for children and their parents for designing and constructing their own toy car. 

The user chooses the car elements and creates his own 3D design of a toy car in a virtual garage. It is possible to turn the model around, from side to side, and zoom in. 

The model can be saved in the cart, and as soon as the user purchases the model, it is constructed in reality.

The car elements can be bought separately for the existing toy car in the standard catalog. 

After purchasing the toy car, it is possible to take part in offline tournament with other members of the community.

Project Overview

A two-module system for an online cosmetics shop, with an exceptional feature: 

a bonus system with 3 types of commission for the sales managers – all in one app. 

The sales managers retail the online shop’s products and gain bonuses through the Mobile App, which is connected to the Web App. 

The administrator sets the commission rate to each sales manager individually according to  the special bonus system, using the admin panel of the website.  

Such a set of features is not available in E-commerce web template systems. 

The developed two-module system for the cosmetics shop consists of:

-Mobile App for sales managers.

The project was developed for the owner of a cosmetics shop.

We were to built a system with a unique feature: 

THE SALES MANAGERS COULD SELL BEAUTY PRODUCTS AND GAIN COMMISSION FROM THE OWNER OF THE SHOP – all in one software system. 

Challenge 2 

The client worked through the platform Shopify for payments arrangements, purchase registrations, and used its online cashier system. 

So, another challenge for us was to automate the correlation of the selling process on Shopify, which provides data through API, and our project’s bonus system. 

Development Process

Admin Panel of the Web App

The access to the Web admin panel has the administrator only. It has the following features:

-Users - the admin can create a user type – a sales manager or a representative. 

-Bonus system. The admin chooses a commission type for each sales manager:

  • gross revenue commission;
  • gross margin commission; and 
  • tiered commission.

-Commission rate - (in percent) for each sales manager individually. 

-Start date-End date - the duration of commission.

The admin panel has also got:

-Inventory - the storage, where the goods ordered from Shopify will be displayed, and the administrator could start collecting orders for the sales managers.

-Statistics - the orders made from the Shopify system and the sales managers’ activity. 

-Activity history - all the orders made by the sales managers that the administrator has to collect. All the data will be stored from Shopify. 

-News - the block with posts and videos which the administrator can upload through his youtube account. 

The administrator adds the user to the system, gives access to the Mobile App and controls all profiles and their logins and passwords. 

Mobile App

The Mobile App was developed for the sales managers and representatives who will use the mobile app and work for the online shop. 

The main page includes:

-The whole sum of proceeds;

-The bonuses amount; and

-History.

Also, there are in the mobile app:

-Inventory - the storage where the sales manager makes an order from Shopify. The data from this inventory is displayed at the administrator’s inventory, and the latter starts collecting the order. 

On the client’s demand, we built a Running Low Inventory which could send notifications about the top-requested goods that are up to run low. 

-Statistics - short information about the manager’s activity. 

-News - promo, special offers, posts and videos played by Youtube player. 

-Leader board - a competitive table of current top-3 leading managers with their total sales value and bargains.

Back-end services were developed on the Node.js platform 

To develop a front-end part of the Web app, we used React.js. 

The Mobile App was built with the help of JS React Native

According to all the requirements we built a multi module project for the client:

An E-learning application with the features of self-organizing.

The project was created on the Unity game engine using the C# language. Also, we adopted Golang, React, AWS, PostgreSQL, TypeScript and PHP.

We restructured 10-years worth of student biology data to serve the app better, as well as be used for machine learning algorithms in the future to create a fully adaptive learning experience.

Result

Our team developed concept art and MVP of the future e-learning platform.  We paid close attention to our client's business needs and studied the target audience thoroughly to best meet the end clients’ needs. The back-end architecture is based on the Java tech stack and JVM-based runtime, while the front-end is based on React. The customer was offered to implement automated testing using Postman, but the choice fell on the Cypress.io framework.

First, we rafted project documentation that contained a flowchart and the project architecture. Also, we recorded all the available fields for further validation and prepared a checklist with positive critical paths.

While developing this documentation, functionality was tested with the checklist and automated tests on the Cypress Test Automation Framework.

We used Jenkins with Docker. Since Docker can integrate with tools like Jenkins and GitHub, developers can submit code in GitHub, test the code and automatically trigger a build using Jenkins. Once the image is complete, images can be added to Docker registries.

This streamlines the process, saves time on building and setting up processes. So, developers can run tests and automate them.

Result

The customer received a list of all the bugs found, documentation on input field validation, a flowchart with the application architecture, a manual test report, and a set of more than 50 automated tests.

Development Process
We have implemented from scratch a system of setting animations for weather forecasts. This system takes into account the weather on a certain day in a certain country. And the system of product advertising depends on the weather required by the customer.

Our team utilized various libraries to work with social networks, animations, and images. The data exchange was mostly implemented through REST. In the work, we used different API services, such as weather forecasts and country codes. All server requests are processed through HTTPS.

The user can register or sign in to the application using social networks like Twitter, Facebook, or Apple ID. Firebase Cloud Messaging allows admins to send push notifications across platforms for free.

Challenge

Because of a diverse company’s structure with many hierarchically ordered divisions distributed over a large area, it was necessary to implement complex mechanisms of budgetary funds approval and distribution with the need to keep the history of mutual settlements and strict accounting reports on the movement of all funds in the system.

All processes for the calculation and payment of benefits involve joint work with other government organizations. Therefore, the list of tasks also included the development of a platform that allows one to set up integration with multiple organizations for rapid information exchange.

And finally, to work with such a complex system, you need to have strong administration and security systems. They should include a complex user role model with various rights and access levels, and implement the encryption of information.

Development process

At the moment, we have implemented an MVP (minimum viable product). We are already receiving feedback from the first users after a pilot launch in some organization’s units. Nevertheless, there is still a lot of work to be done to finish the project — the plan is scheduled for several years ahead. But even the current stage shows that the solution will significantly simplify all the customer’s processes.

By the time the customer turned to us, they already had about 15 thousand stores, as well as 40 thousand cash registers to work with. You can imagine how much data we had to process. Of course, we had to speed up the system for dealing with such an amount of information. And since it was supposed to update applications on all cash registers simultaneously, we had to provide for the possibility of the system to work with the full amount of information.

Challenge
The challenge was to migrate the functionality from an old desktop website into a new React-based web application written from scratch. The main focus was to make the website responsive so that it could be viewed properly on desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. Along with responsiveness, we should have made the website multilingual and SEO friendly. 

Development process
By the time we joined, the work had already been in progress for over a year. The main technological stack was written in React, Redux, and Redux-Thunk. 

For unit and integration testing, we decided to use a Jest JavaScript testing framework. 

For E2E and SEO testing, we used a Jest-Puppeteer preset.

Result
We obtained a modern React-based website with a scalable prices module. Besides, we performed numerous corrections and code optimization work in the existing functionality. We provided additional SEO optimization and improved the internationalization.

As a result, the client managed to migrate all their stores to the new React web application.

After the payment is received, noble metals are purchased for the user and are assigned with a unique identification number for further shipment to the storage. By the time of release, the application contained eight-step user registration and a menu containing the following sections:

In addition, the user status within the application can be upgraded in order to expand the capabilities of a basic account provided at registration. We also added functions such as using biometric user data, password recovery, referral system with reading/generating QR codes.

Getting to the store can be challenging in our regular routines, but as the spread of the novel coronavirus means most people are currently being asked to stay at home as much as possible, getting goods can feel extra challenging. To meet surging demand, our client comes across an idea to build a service that would help people with home-delivery, create income, and also support local shops.

And so we started developing a new service for home delivery — Svop.

The web-app allows buyers to get whatever they want from up to 3 different stores in one run. But it must be possible for one person to carry. Goods can be chosen from all stores nearby.

Buyers need to register on Svop, sign up with credit card to pay for the service, and use Vipps to pay for the goods. After the shopping list has been completed, the service matches the buyer with a runner nearby. Then, a runner will pick a list up and be on their way. Runner pays for goods in advance, and the buyer pays the runner back immediately after the delivery. If the buyer has a special order, he or she sends an e-mail to a help desk.

Svop is a helping hand for a lot of people right now and will have a positive effect, long after the situation has normalized.

This app reinforces the learning goals that are being taught in school and helps pupils to become more familiar with the subjects. Further, it develops valuable learning skills such as concentration, careful reading, and good comprehension.

QR Me project is an offline mobile app that allows you to share your business cards using QR code. It demands a sign up either via a Google or Facebook account or by phone number. Then you should decide which fields with your personal information you’d like to share. In addition to main fields like name, workplace, and contact data, you can add links to profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. You may also attach your paper business card photo to the QR code. After filling all the fields in, you may show your QR code to another user of this app. Besides, you can capture a QR code created in this app and save it to the app’s contacts list.

The customer entrusted us with the development of an offline-first cross-platform mobile app with specific functions.

Development Process

With the power of React Native, we created a seamless cross-platform mobile app. To easily create functional pipelines, one that never mutates user data, we adopted Ramda, a library designed specifically for a functional programming style. To use state and other React features without writing a class component, React Hooks has been utilized.

For a straightforward navigation solution, with the ability to present common stack navigation and tabbed navigation patterns on both Android and iOS, React Navigation has been chosen as the best option.

For all backend coding, this app uses Node.js, express, and passport.js. To store all the app’s data, we preferred MongoDB, a non-relational database. We set up the Continuous Integration and Delivery workflow with Amazon S3 and AWS Elastic Beanstalk.

To enable users to sign in with their Google or Facebook account, Google sign-in and Facebook API have been applied. Moreover, we selected the OAuth 2.0 authorization code flow.

For adding optional types to JavaScript that support tools for large-scale JS apps, our team picked TypeScript. It should be noted that this language compiles to readable, standards-based JavaScript.

Result

The client got the offline-first mobile solution that is available on the App Store and Google Play.

After a free consultation with our experts, primary project requirements for this management system were established. Development Process

First, we have analyzed project requirements with regard to resources and deadlines. This helped us to decide on what approach to choose.

For frontend development, we picked React.js, a modern framework that enabled us to achieve a great user experience and optimize our development efforts. We used Java as the main technology for backend development. We chose it because the system has a complex architecture. Java components are easily available, making scaling of large apps smooth.

The project was finished in 4 months in line with the requirements. Our development team has fully implemented a vacation and project spreads, and project and contract boards’ layout. Also, we have added data from a backend. To access the service, the user should select a specific VPN configuration while connecting to the database.

Development Process

The challenge was to develop a platform with high quality and in short terms. For these reasons, we have chosen to incorporate React Native as the main technology. Python has been used as a backend language. To efficiently offload data from the devices into the cloud, we have used MQTT, the standard messaging and data exchange protocol for the Internet of Things (IoT). For other requests, such as login, registration, creation and modification of rooms, rest endpoints have been utilized.

Result

As a result, we developed a system which allows smart home residents to control their appliances and monitor their use remotely. Also, we have created a system for flexible connection of devices based on the connection scheme received from the server. Users can automate household chores like laundry or door lock with just their smartphone. With smart сameras, they can control to control items around the house—from window shades to pet feeders—without ever having to get off a couch.

Besides, this solution allows office tenants to dramatically reduce decision-making time on changing building settings and ensure its high accuracy. It will lead to essential energy savings.

The game was developed using Unity. To add a multiplayer feature and provide flexible matchmaking we used Photon. The realistic gaming experience is achieved using 3D graphics. All screens, elements, and characters have an individual design created from scratch.

The AR Fitting Room is a virtual fitting room which allows users to pick out clothing and try them all out virtually. This project is built on the most sophisticated technologies: augmented reality and Microsoft Kinect. The challenge was to create a virtual fitting room that allows customers to see an accurate reflection of what a particular item will look like on them. We brainstormed different ways to solve each pain point and created a prototype application that runs on devices with a Kinect camera. Challenge

The challenge was to create an app that will let the users log in to any portal using secret codes entered into the application on their smartphones. The main client’s requirement was to provide as much safety and security as possible.

To solve the problem, we implemented several ways of code encryption before the user sees the code and after it was entered into the app. To improve the security of data exchange, we used a real-time connection model between the server and the client.

Development Process

We used Angular 8 and Angular Material to build a web application for authorization using the OAuth 2.0 Protocol, JSON Web Token, and the .NET platform. To provide real-time client-server communication, we used the SignalR library and WebSockets. We applied some encryption methods to provide maximum data reliability.

Result

We created a solution to let the users quickly and securely log in to any portal, while portal owners get detailed information about their visitors. As people are used to browsing the web via smartphones, the number of portals’ visitors increased by 21.5%.

2) CRM for the funeral business employees, where they process applications (leads), fill in information about the deceased (cases), create and track accounts (invoices). The CRM also has an admin role. Administrators can manage business data (locations, subscription, other information). They have permissions to view reports and fill in information for Quote calculator within a specific chain of funeral homes. Superadmin is represented by a customer and can view reports of all the chains. CRM is available by subscription (Silver, Gold, Platinum) on the website.

All room dimensions are as close as they can get to on-site ECG laboratories. The application consists of different training routines for the room setup and the performance of the ECG procedure itself. All routines and requirements for the exercises correspond to actual on-site conditions.

Any deviation from the process is tracked by the application and reported as metrics for further improvement.

Modes of the simulator

Room setup — Virtual factory of processes on the organization of ECG laboratory working area

  2. Room maintenance: Arrange the furniture to ensure maximum workplace efficiency.

At the end of the course, the subject gets an evaluation and the number of errors before he/she can revisit the theory or continue training.

Carrying out the ECG procedure with the patient

The application produces a realistic VR simulation of the ECG procedure. The simulated procedure includes applying a solution, placing electrodes, treating caps and clamps and ensuring that the resulting reading is correct.

Ludo traces its lineage back to 6th century India. Ludo is derived from the game Pachisi, but also reminds Snakes and Ladders.

The game is played between 2 to 4 players and you can play the game against the computer, against your friends, or even against people from around the world. The objective of the game is simple: you start on 1 and you have to be the first one to make it to 100. You can only move the same number of tiles as the number you roll on a die. The board is also littered with snakes and ladders. If you land on the same tile as the beginning of a ladder, then you can take the ladder as a shortcut and move on up. But, if you land on the mouth of a snake, then down you go to its tail.

Whoever gets all four tokens to the end first is the winner. However, each move can only be made based on the number decided by casting a six-sided die, and each token can only move out of their home by casting a six. Additionally, the competition factor of the game is upped by the fact that if another player’s token lands on the same square as your token, then your token will automatically be sent back home and you’ll need to roll a six again.

Livia is a pharmaceutical application that enables customers to order over-the-counter medical drugs through a network of interconnected pharmacies in Kenya. The application comes in two versions, Livia for chemists and Livia Dawa meant for customers.

Our challenge was to develop a B2C healthcare application that operates like an online store with a delivery service. The project involved the creation of the following features:

Livia Dawa

Livia Dawa is designed to be simple to use for anyone with a smartphone. It is location-based almost in the same way as Uber and Pokémon Go are, where the user taps to find the nearest chemist within a 2-kilometer radius. All the user needs to do is to submit a request and nearby chemists will be able to give their quotations. The pharmacy that has the required drug available and at the most reasonable price will be selected. The medication can be purchased via M-Pesa or cash after the customer is notified that the order is ready to collect.

Application for pharmacies

Pharmacies can see all submitted prescriptions and requests for medicines through an application created for them. Here drugstores accept orders and confirm whether a specific medicine is available.

  • Server application is the core of Livia service that provides a centralized platform necessary for all the client applications to function. Apart from that, the server application is used to administer application settings such as the delivery radius of every pharmacy.
