In 1948, San Pedro, California was busier catching fish than moving cargo. Just before the advent of the modern shipping container, Western Overseas Corporation was born. Along with the area and the shipping industry, the company grew — from a small office of five to an international network of more than 200 shipping professionals, now with its headquarters in Cypress, California.
