Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
The main product of our team is the 2Smart Cloud IoT platform. Its concept was born in 2019, but the road to the public release of this product has been winding. At the same time, we developed a turnkey cloud ACS Propuskator and the 2Smart Standalone automation platform for deploying an advanced smart home or automating commercial facilities. These are IoT projects in which the backbone of our team was formed and where we put our expertise into practice.

We released 2Smart Cloud in November 2021, and since then, its features have been available to developers worldwide. The idea of the platform is that it suits a developer of any level:
  • An enthusiast who takes his first steps in IoT gets the opportunity to create firmware for ESP32-based devices without programming using the ESPHome tool. He has access to a no-code mobile application builder and basic capabilities for maintaining and supporting his products. Such an enthusiast can connect up to 20 devices to the 2Smart Cloud MQTT broker for free.
  • A startup gets the same tools and can also use our paid services related to support device development, firmware creation, and production. If necessary, a startup can use 2Smart Cloud software products under its brand within the framework of a white label.
  • Enterprise customers can get our powerful business platform, which allows them to administer a multi-level network of companies and users, manage user roles, and maintain IoT devices. The platform already operates a growing chain of EV charging stations in Eastern Europe.

Regarding my role in the organization, team COO Natasha and I were tasked with developing the IoT business at our parent company, WebbyLab. I led the development of all significant projects of the team, some of which are mentioned above. I also led the finalization of the Propuskator controllers and the development of all Proof of Concept devices.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
Our goal was to create the best IoT platform, understandable enough for IoT beginners and functional enough for enterprise use.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
In the development of the platform, we pay special attention to the device's end user. We don't want to limit them to just the industry-standard set of a device and a mobile app to control it. For the user to get maximum satisfaction, we have expanded their user experience with such features as:
  • device control using Siri and Google Home voice commands,
  • phone call control,
  • control via Telegram bots,
  • two ways of sharing with other users,
  • integration of popular messengers to receive notifications from devices.
     
All of these features are available out of the box so that customers who connect their products to our platform receive the significant added value of customer satisfaction. There is probably nothing more valuable for today's business.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?
We love the Internet of Things because it can be applied to almost any industry where it brings real benefits. Our case studies include consumer devices for the home, HVAC, EV chargers, access control systems, and farming... We never know what project a customer will come to us with tomorrow, and that's cool!
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
We have already mentioned this above when talking about added value for our partners. To this, we can add that we support developers of IoT devices by providing them with our facilities for personal experiments for free. We tried to make an understandable platform interface for them and provided some exciting features. For example, the ability to use the ESPHome base to create firmware for devices based on the ESP32 microcontroller.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Personally interacting with most of our clients, I can rate their level of satisfaction as close to the maximum. To achieve this, I first try to listen to each of them, understand their pain, and offer the best solution for each request.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
Since we build long-term relationships with our customers, we can say that 100% of them stay with us and use our product.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
Oh sure! First, we have a blog on the site, which has an extensive knowledge base on various categories. Including the Get started section, which details all the steps from the start of development to maintenance and support of the device. Secondly, the basic knowledge is collected in the 2Smart Cloud platform wiki. Finally, we have a Telegram chat where any user can ask any question and will receive a competent answer.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
In addition to the Telegram chat mentioned above, in which developers can share their experience, we are open to solving all emerging issues by email, zoom, etc. I personally communicate with the clients we provide custom services to, so there are no problems with interaction.
What has been the revenue for your product for 2022?
2022 was our first year in production, and our launch model was to focus on IoT enthusiasts and startups that use this technology. Therefore, we have not yet set ourselves the goal of earning. However, our business customers who came along during the year helped us to significantly develop the platform in terms of advanced functionality for enterprise tasks.
Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?
We see our product as a full-featured solution for users of all sizes - from startups to enterprise partners. We want to perfect the idea of a boxed solution that can be quickly obtained and launched into production when the customer does not have to worry about launching, and our product covers all his needs.
 
We want to be useful not only to businesses but also to enthusiasts, that is, people who are sincerely interested in the Internet of Things and need a tool for their experiments. In 10 years, we want billions of devices connected to the 2Smart Cloud, thousands of business customers, and millions of enthusiasts using our platform every day.
