ConceptDraw PROJECT Reviews

Great Ease of Use Powerful Integration with Other CD Tools + Fantastic Graphics
Review Summary
I have been using ConceptDraw Project for more than 10 years, as well as other PM tools. While some others are cross platform, and others are easy to use and still others integrate planing tools, none combine all these features and functions in a single application. And none are as easy to use across all functions.
CD Project is tightly integrated with Diagram and MindMap, the two other tools in the CD suite of applications as well as their Solutions library which provides hundreds of situation specific graphic and functional mini-applications that augment the principle suite.
I have used Project to manage small and medium sized construction projects, and complex system designs that integrate the software that manages the systems. In the latter case I have used the system design to develop the requirements document for the software and define the tasks of the software development project.
The flexibility of Projects is unmatched. I can switch from a MindMap to scope the project, to a preliminary Gantt chart, to a diagrammatic representation of the system and back again to the Gantt chart as new requirements and tasks emerge during the design and planning process.
Once the project is underway, managing resources and generating a wide variety of reports is a click away as are well design interactive dashboards.
