What Users Like The Least

  • One minor gripe is the lack of deeper integrations. It would be helpful to sync certain data like completed job sheets or asset movement directly into our internal council systems or procurement portals.
  • While Field Force Tracker has greatly improved our ability to act on real-time field data for procurement decisions, one challenge we faced was interdepartmental sync during the early rollout.

We had multiple recurring issues before adopting FFT: Field delays due to slow information flows between site teams and office; Invoice generation lagging behind actual completion of works; Miscommunication on work orders when changes happen in the field but aren’t reflected back in the system immediately. Field Force Tracker addresses all of these. Because field staff can update work status in real time, with photos and signatures, we get much better control over change orders. Invoices get generated close to task completion, improving cash flow tracking and reducing billing errors.

What do you like the least about Field Force Tracker?

There are a few downsides worth mentioning. First, while the mobile apps are feature rich, they sometimes lag or have minor syncing issues especially for teams working in remote areas with spotty connectivity. Also, reports for contract management, expiration tracking, or integrations with ERP or specialized BIM systems aren’t always as deep as we’d like.
