Our company-Moriarty's Gem Art used Moz for a couple years. I believe Moz is great for the more experienced user. It includes all the information you need regarding link building, keyword research, onsite grading and even a forum for help. It is not quite as user friendly as the others, so I would recommend it for actual SEO's and not business owners with little experience. But in the end, there is not as complete as their tool.

Moz Pro is made to track campaigns. make onsite SEO improvements, and conduct competitor research and build links to willing sites. MOZ may give approximations on keyword volume based on tiers between 0-10 / 11 - 100 / 101 - 1000 / and so on. Using MOZ at IVIO Agency, we found that it doesn't give any data on rankings beyond the 51st position. Keywords are updated about once a week in MOZ.

Using Moz at Voyage Web Designs, we found that Moz returned fewer data and had fewer tools to break that data down when compared to other tools.

For SEO purpose at StrategyBeam, we use Moz as it is a great tool for keyword research and offer one of the largest databases to help with link research. Moz is a 5/5 for all things keyword research, topic research, and evaluating links.It help marketers in their own right and can help build better content and drive more qualified traffic when used properly.

During those campaigns, I have worked with at least a dozen different mainstream SEO software. I have used Moz at my previous agency. Here's how I would break them down on different factors:

1. Scalability(5/5): Moz is great if you're in an agency and need one master account to do keyword tracking, content discovery and technical audits. Despite being able to track only 10 - 25 campaigns across the first three pricing tiers, you can have a ton of users log on at the same time. This makes it ideal for large agencies who will have multiple analysts logging on to the same account.
2. Pricing(4/5): The tiers for Moz are monthly: $99 / $179 / $249 / $599 / Custom and it allows for an annual 20% discount.
3. Technical Stack(3/5): Moz has all the accouterments and tracking capabilities for local campaigns and enterprise campaigns, plus the general technical audits and crawling capabilities of any out of the box SEO tool. It also has an API, but you need to pay a minimum of $250 extra a month.

I use Moz for the SEO purpose of my company Quality Logo Products, Inc. and found that it's the easiest platform to use, especially when it comes to managing search engine optimization activities for your website. Its interface and tools are very user-friendly and powerful.

Sometimes it seems to behind the times with some of its features (domain authority as a metric, for example) and it can be difficult to navigate for beginner users. It also offers less for the money (only 2 websites and 300 keywords).

At Summit Digital Marketing, we use MOZ every day in our management workflows for clients. Besides using MOZ for the basic features such as Keyword Research and Link Research, we create campaigns in MOZ Pro for our clients to monitor Technical SEO opportunities and problems. We use the Site Crawl and Keyword Ranking Tool religiously to track our Organic Keyword progress and monitor any site issues, however, we prefer other resources to the Keyword Research tool. Regardless, MOZ has been an integral resource to our clients' amazing results and we will continue to use MOZ in our everyday management.

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Prospected. I think Moz is a great tool and it could be useful for someone who runs on a tighter budget, hence, wants to use a tool for free. Upgrading it to PRO doesn’t make much sense to me since we are getting pretty much the same features in the PRO version as we do in the free version.

Moz is better for someone beginning to utilize SEO. At LetMeBank, we use Moz as it offers a lot of decent features for free, which is why it's a good jumping-off point. But once you get familiar with SEO, it won't be enough in the long run.
