I am CEO and founder at No Spoilers. I am an experienced entrepreneur and startup founder with a deep technological background. I have always been passionate about building and launching new products, from writing code to marketing and sales. I am obsessed with optimization and automation.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
No Spoilers solves two major stock control problems in the hospitality business. The first is data collecting. Bars & restaurants are quite unique in terms of stock control. In those places, various products are sold by portion - wines, spirits, liquors, soft drinks. Usually, each venue has around 200, up to 300, opened beverage containers. It means, that during stock control, each opened bottle is separately measured and the result is written in a calculation sheet. It takes a lot of work to stock control a bar - from our experience, it is around 30 man-hours per stock take, and good business practice is to stock control a bar once a week. Stock control without professional tools is an expensive process with doubted accuracy. Unfortunately, there are no accurate and easily affordable solutions in the market. They are either extremely expensive or archaic and inefficient.
The second problem is stocktake reporting. To generate a full stock control report we need sales, which come from the Point-of-Sale system, received supplies list, wastage data, and stock levels from two points in time. Today, all that data comes from different sources which makes reporting time-consuming.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
We introduced a solution based on a smart scale (hardware) connected via Bluetooth to a mobile application installed on a smartphone. No Spoilers stock control system is managed in a web-browser application. That is how No Spoilers gathers information regarding stock levels.
Since we solved data gathering problem, then it is time to put all the data together. That is the reason why we integrate No Spoilers with Point-of-Sale systems - to automate as many processes as we are able to.
No Spoilers moved data collecting process from low-mid management to regular employees without risks of data manipulation. Employees collect data regarding stock levels or verify incoming supplies orders with mobile app.

We target hospitality companies, restaurants, hotels, food manufacturers and distributors. We have customers in all these sectors.
