RedactProof redacts PDFs, Word files, scans and images in your browser. The document never leaves your device: detection, review and the final burn all run locally, so there is no upload and no vendor server.

Automatic detection flags names, addresses, dates of birth, National Insurance and Social Security numbers, bank details, medical identifiers and more than 60 other categories, with a confidence score on each. You review, adjust and apply. Redaction is pixel-burn: the text underneath is destroyed, not covered, and metadata, comments and form data go with it.

Every export can carry a signed, tamper-evident certificate with a QR code, plus an audit log of what was removed and why, including exemption codes for subject access, FOI and disclosure work. OCR restores a searchable text layer to the finished file.
