Too Much Freedom Causes Lower Reviews
From a developers perspective, it's not bad. It offers a wide variety of options and customizations including many UX options. However, out of the box, functionality is limited until you have spent a fair amount within the account. For smaller teams, this can be an issue. In addition, it is crippleware and exporting your finished content is a no-go. From a customers perspective, I have really not had any positive feedback while employing this tool into our rotation. We have found that with a drag and drop tool, complete freedom really limits some as creativity is not their strongest suit (and that is okay). Most tools provide decent blocks that adapt to the users design choices but the code blocks take on their own distinct design every time they are placed on the screen. Support is also not acceptable for any company looking to get a true production-level tool in front of customers. Looking back, I consider a learning point of what I don't want within my software.
Word of advice to anyone looking for a white labeled website builder tool to resell: look at the tools success stories and see what real customer websites look like and decide if this is what you want for your customers.
