About Sonas

Sonas is a comprehensive wedding planning app for every type of venue. The cloud-based software is designed to help venues to plan the wedding every step of the way from the initial enquiry through to the billing of your clients. Sonas offers both the venue and the couple access to plan and coordinate the wedding together in sync. Sonas' features include: direct comms with the client through an internal email system, the planning of venue showrounds and tasting events, management of wedding guest lists, room mapping with the venues furniture and guest seatings, bar and menu price lists/templates with fully customisable options too - flagging up any dietary or allergy concerns to alert for your kitchen team.

Sonas also seamlessly integrates with Stripe to conduct online card payments and Xero to streamline the accounting/invoicing processes.

What users like the most

  • Aside from the software itself, the support team behind this software is probably one of this company's best assets. It's very reassuring to know that whenever we encounter an issue or are unsure about something, we can use the chat box and someone will respond promptly, usually within minutes.
  • Sonas streamlined how we manage weddings by automating manual tasks and reducing errors - things like follow-ups that used to slip through the cracks now happen automatically. This freed us to focus on what matters most in our business. The couples love it too because everything lives in one place, giving them full visibility into their event planning.

What users like the least

  • I have no negatives, the Sonas team always listen to any problems we have and seek efficient resolution.
  • I'd like to see a clearer payment breakdown showing which charges were applied to which items—our Event Team needs this to accurately ring up charges on the tills. It would also help if we could edit the Printed Function sheet since some information doesn't serve our workflow. For example, the event date is tiny on the front page while the enquiry date takes up more prominent space, which doesn't match how we prioritize information.
