Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Our product viewneo would traditionally be referred to as digital signage but it is actually a whole lot more than that. We’ve built an entire ecosystem of products that all work together to allow our customers to create digital experiences. This might be in the form of traditional advertising or video walls, but it also includes things like lift and learns using RFID technology or smart automation with our FR-cam, viewneo Butler, and customer analytics.

I like to think of myself as a big-picture thinker. I enjoy pushing the boundaries and trying to develop new and innovative products. Then with the support of my team, we work together to bring these ideas to life.  It’s very much a non-linear process with lots of steps backward and leaps forward. Every day is a different and new challenge and that is what I enjoy.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
When I set out to develop the original viewneo software, I did so because I felt that there was a real lack of options in the market. My goal was to develop a software solution that was simple and intuitive to use, even for people who traditionally haven’t been strong in technology. Additionally, I wanted it to be priced in a way that made it accessible to everyone from a big corporation to a small business owner.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
I think that the biggest value is the way that our software is designed. All of our products are modular in nature so that customers can choose exactly the features that work best for them. Additionally, we’ve created a range of products, both software, and hardware that are designed to work with each other seamlessly. This helps companies expand their services without worrying about how everything will work together.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?
Since our software is modular the range of industries that are able to use our products is greatly expanded. For example, we cater to all kinds of different industries, such as retail, hospitality, marketing agencies, healthcare, and education to name just a few.

Nearly any industry can benefit from viewneo if they are looking for a relatively easy-to-use solution that can be fully customized. One area that has been overlooked and where we have seen some strong growth is moving beyond just stationary digital signage displays. We’ve been working with companies to create digital experiences for their customers that add value and helps them better understand their customers.
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
One of our key features is the ability to customize the software to meet a business’s specific needs. Additionally, companies only pay for those features that they use.

For example, one company might integrate social media, such as YouTube or Facebook into their companies internal communication displays. While another might use our ScreenSync Plugin to create video walls. We also have extensions that allow customers to create interactive playlists. These optional extensions allow viewneo to be used in a variety of different ways while all still using the same underlying simple software.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Our current customer satisfaction rate is approximately 92%. We actively solicit suggestions and feedback from our customers the whole time that they are using viewneo products. For example, we’ve gotten great feedback from some of our new customers which we then use to modify our tutorial videos.

We also provide opportunities for our existing customers to submit requests for new functionalities and improvements. Customers are welcome to contact us directly with their feedback or to post them to the viewneo Forum.

We offer our customers the option of either a monthly or yearly subscription. Currently, more customers choose to have a yearly subscription with us. At the end of the subscription period, we average around a 95% return rate.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
Yes, this is one area that we have worked hard on improving over the past few years. We have a variety of different ways that customers can get information on our products depending on their needs.

For example, we’ve developed viewneo Docs which provides in-depth information on all of the software features, including use cases. We also feature tutorials on our viewneo YouTube channel. Finally, we also have a forum where customers can ask questions or even just share ideas with us.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We offer e-mail support for all of our customers around the world. We’re able to provide a response to our customers within 48 hours of their inquiry. Additionally, for some of our larger customers, we offer telephone support and contact person for any unique issues that they might have.
What has been the revenue for your product for 2020?
We’ve been fortunate that our revenue has actually increased in 2020 despite some setbacks in some of our key industries such as hospitality from the coronavirus. We worked directly with some of our hardest-hit customers and provided them support where needed.

We anticipate that as businesses get back to a more normal footing in 2021 that we will continue to see revenue growth, especially in our smart line products.
Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?
The viewneo product line is currently changing and growing based on the needs of the market and there is no reason to think that this will change. I’m always looking for new ways to improve our software and hardware to keep it relevant to our customers. That has been part of our mission from day one and will continue for at least the next 10 years.
