Meetanshi is a Bhavnagar based Magento Extension Development and Magento Service Provider company. We focus on offering free and premium Magento as well as Magento 2 extensions. I am the CEO and Co-founder of Meetanshi. My role is to handle the technical aspects of the business, and I'm responsible for the flawless and timely delivery of projects.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing an ecommerce app.
The time frame to develop an eCommerce store is determined by keeping in mind the points such as the complexity of the store, number of products, client specifications, and the features. However, initially, the project manager makes sure to discuss the project requirements at micro-level with the client as well as the team. Only after that, we convey the time frame to the clients and abide by it.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of an ecommerce app?
According to me, the time factor varies for each project. However, the skillset and experience of the developer play a significant role in the time required to complete such tasks. Luckily, Meetanshi has the team of certified Magento developers and experts in the field.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/outsourcing?
Our company's business model is entirely in-house with dedicated teams for each field like Magento frontend development, backend development, store management, support, and marketing. The selection of a platform to build an eCommerce store depends on several factors, and each one crucial. The primary being the budget and project size. A project with a small budget and complexity can be handled well with the open-source platform like Magento as compared to Shopify. The concept of the project is to be considered as to not face issues in the future that can't be solved with the selected platform. Other essential points that we often suggest to clients are the business requirements, time allocation, and the project size. Lastly, we recommend choosing a platform that ensures security for their customers.
Which platform do you suggest your clients begin with when they approach you with an idea (Magento, Shopify, Bigcommerce, etc.) and why?
The clients do a thorough research of every platform and the relevance of their project before they approach us. However, if asked, we suggest Magento 2 platform. Apart from our ability to serve the clients with 100% satisfaction with the Magento platform, these are reasons we recommend Magento platform for developing an eCommerce store:
Magento is open-source, and the template code can be altered as per the business requirement. For multiple stores with rich functionality, Magento is best suited.

Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Jumla, Drupal, etc.)?
We prefer Magento as it is specialized for eCommerce, which is our focus of work. However, it purely depends on the clients' requirements, and it can vary to Wordpress too.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of an ecommerce application?
An eCommerce store development needs considerable efforts comprising of implementing several tasks. However, we can't afford to implement every eCommerce store functionality for every client. Hence, we first discuss the budget with the clients for the project they are willing to give us. Accordingly, we try our best to offer the maximum within their budget.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions, etc.)
The payment structure depends on the project, and the feasibility for us as well as the client. We have completed projects having fixed requirements, and in such cases, fixed cost method can be appropriate. However, individual plans are with complexities, and the conditions are delivered as time passes. For such projects, we approach the billing method based on hours. In all cases, we ensure the best feasibility for customers in term of cost-effectiveness as compared to the market.
Do you take in projects which meet your essential budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Being a one and half year old company, we consider the opportunity to work with different clients and diversify our portfolio. Budget is not our primary focus. We've worked on a project worth 100 USD. As we're still a young company, we're learning and thriving each day to take big projects, and timely and flawlessly deliver them.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
We, at Meetanshi, can handle projects ranging from minimum USD 100 and maximum USD 50000+.
What do you think is the future of the ecommerce industry?
The future is PWA! Progressive web apps will revolutionize user experience on the web. As Magento is a widely used eCommerce platform and the addition of PWA with Magento 2.3.0 is good news. The future of companies focussing on eCommerce is promising.
With PWA in the picture, eCommerce merchants can offer a native app-like experience, offline functionality, quick loading, and less data consumption! Everything that the shoppers would want.
