18 wheels was a great firm to work with. They provided lots of customer suppport to get operaitonal. There was a personal dedicated to getting setup. Because they are used to lots of different customers, they have quite a detailed setup process, but having a personal to support us through it helped.

Exceptionally planned and executed

The 18Wheels team had the whole plan finalized before the project kick off date and their team worked very well with our team and was understanding of our challenges at every step. The different departments worked with each other flawlessly and had a solid knowledge of processes and the challenges that faced ahead.
We met our SLA's with zero shipping delays and inventory inaccuracy was well within tolerance.
Would recommend 18 wheels to everyone we know in the industry.

Excellent Service

I required a large volume re-Packers in Western Canada for about 500,000 cases of (12X2) annually. 18 Wheels with their automated lines was a perfect partner. Their customer services, systems and capacity was great. It met all my expectations. We required about 10,000 case per week so it was 4 truckloads which there isn't any other re-packers to handle such volumes.

Cross-Docking Services in Vancouver

Get professional Vancouver cross-docking services for all your needs. 18 Wheels Logistics can help companies expedite shipments to customers or retail chains with minimal handling or storage time. This method will help quickly move your inventory through the supply chain and into the hands of consumers in time for the next sale.  The manufacturer benefits by the reduction of material waste, labor costs, and warehouse expenses. Since there’s a shortened time frame from producer to the market, customer satisfaction and brand affinity increases as well. The end result of cross-docking is that there is an optimized supply chain, a goal that all companies strive for.

Benefits of Cross-Docking Services

Reduction in Labor Costs

There’s a decrease in labor costs due to the fact that shipments would no longer require picking up and putting away in warehouses for storage. The shipments are immediately unloaded from an incoming carrier and loaded directly on an outbound carrier.

Reduction in Warehouse Space

Since there’s no requirement to store these products in warehouses, companies save money on warehousing expenses.

Supply Chain Optimization

Cross-docking is a sure way to keep supply chains moving in a productive, efficient manner.

Improved Customer Satisfaction

The time between producer and consumer is minimized, thus increasing customer satisfaction.

18 Wheels Warehousing is a national provider for 3PL services. We have facilities in both West, Vancouver and East, Toronto. For multiple of our beverage customers, we have set up re-packing lines in both cities to create multipacks. We invested in different production lines to achieve high throughput at effective cost.

Beverage Distribution - Coast to Coast

Our partners requested us to set up distribution in both Vancouver and Toronto warehouses. We supported customer's Canada expansion by setting and making investment in re-pack lines to create new SKUs for Costco's and storing at the same locations. With our experience working with Costco made the transition smooth.  We are audited and approved by Costco.

n addition to handling the shipping and logistics for alcoholic beverages, we also handle non-alcoholic beverages. Beverage handling and shipping requires thorough understanding of all the rules, regulations, and compliance issues, including cross-border shipping and customs requirements.

We take care of everything including shipping, packaging, labeling, storage, and logistics in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible. We understand that careful handling is required in the transport of cans and bottles. A damaged bottle or can may have a domino effect damaging the packaging of other products.

For the shipping and handling of beverage items, we have the experience, equipment, and space to make it seamless and worry-free for you. Whether your beverage products need to be shipped within the province, across provinces, or across the border, we can handle every detail for you from the producer to the distributor or the end consumer market.

Beverage containers may be heavy and fragile, but 18 Wheel Logistics is up to the job. With extensive experience, and a specialist staff, we will make the shipping and logistics of your beverages look easy. We can keep your product at a specific temperature, and we have strict controls in place to keep our warehousing clean and pest free.
