Amplify Tech Labs is a Chicago-based product and engineering firm led by Founder & CEO Peter Hwang, a fintech product leader with 20 years of experience. Fintech is our deepest expertise, especially lending and deposit account opening: loans, lines of credit, credit cards and deposit accounts of every kind, across both originations and servicing. We also do B2B SaaS and direct-to-consumer product work.

Two ways to work with us:

• Senior developers, placed on your team. Vetted senior engineers, mostly from Latin America, join your team, stack and process. They average about 15 years of experience, we deliver a candidate slate within 48 hours, and only about 3 in 100 engineers pass our vetting. You run your own interview and pick who you hire.

• Fractional CPO plus a build team. Peter works as your fractional CPO: product strategy, Jobs-to-be-Done discovery, work shaped with Shape Up, and clickable prototypes tested with real users. Meanwhile our developers build the product he manages, from design through full-stack engineering with automated tests, DevOps, launch and analytics.

Our team of 29 spans Latin America (Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico), the US and Canada, and Europe. The time-zone overlap with the US is deliberate, and most clients start with our nearshore bench for real-time collaboration.

We stay small on purpose, ship outcomes rather than output, and work with radical transparency.
