Barto, Hoss & Company

In November, 1993 Michael Barto and Henry Hoss merged their CPA firms to form Barto, Hoss & Company, P.C. The firm has thirty employees, including 6 CPA's. As Certified Public Accountants we act as advisors to a variety of organizations on a wide range of financial matters. As professionals we must have a college degree, pass a rigorous national examination, and meet certain experience requirements to qualify for a state license. We are governed by a code of professional ethics which is among the most exacting of any profession. Our firm is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and must pass their review of our quality control policies every three years. We carefully screen prospective staff members and routinely conduct internal inspections of their work. We require every member to stay abreast of changing laws and regulations through university courses, professional conferences, and self-study courses.
