Caventis

Caventis is a UK procurement consultancy and supply chain consultancy for businesses of any size, with clients in the UK and internationally. Its procurement services cover five areas, from cutting third-party spend to providing an interim procurement director.

Cost reduction. Supplier prices often rise faster than revenue, and contracts renew without anyone checking the price. Caventis cost reduction consultants run a spend analysis across all third-party spend (e.g. freight, packaging, energy, IT), then use strategic sourcing and renegotiation on the contracts that cost too much. Each saving is tracked against an agreed baseline and signed off by the client's finance team.

Product sourcing. As an independent sourcing agent, Caventis finds, tenders and qualifies manufacturers in the UK, China, India, Vietnam, Turkey, Eastern Europe and near-shore markets. Suppliers are compared on landed cost, the work is open book with no factory commissions, and the client owns every supplier relationship.

Offshoring and outsourcing. As an independent offshoring consultant, Caventis advises on which finance, customer service and back-office processes can move, and to which location and provider. KPIs and quality gates are set before go-live.

Sustainable supply chains. Tenders are lost without a carbon reduction plan, and customers now ask suppliers for emissions data. Caventis writes carbon reduction plans and Modern Slavery statements, and collects supplier emissions data for Scope 3 reporting, at the lowest cost that satisfies the buyer.

Interim procurement leadership. An interim procurement director or fractional CPO joins for a defined period to lead through a sale or acquisition, run a cost programme, build the procurement function or take on category management.

Every engagement starts with objectives agreed with the client. Nothing is signed or switched without the client's approval.
