Galaxy Technology is Michael McCoy, a senior software developer in Glasgow with 30 years' experience building and running production software.

Since 2020 I've been a lead developer of the real-time data services behind BBC on-air graphics: live election results, live sports results, and the always-on information screens that keep channels live between programmes. Results go out live to a national audience with no second chance, so the data has to be right and on time.
