Galliot proudly collaborates with the California Early Childhood Mentor Program (CECMP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing California's education quality. With a profound impact on over 25 million students in 35 years since its establishment in 1988, CECMP's mission holds immense significance.

Challenges:

CECMP relied on a legacy system with no documentation, running on outdated and unsupported hardware in California. This posed significant challenges, impeding progress and efficiency.

Our Project:

To catalyze CECMP's growth and modernize their infrastructure, we embarked on a transformative journey:

• AWS Migration: We migrated their system to Amazon Web Services (AWS), freeing them from outdated hardware
  limitations. This facilitated better performance, scalability, and reduced operational complexities.
• Backup & Security Enhancement: Implementing robust backup processes ensured data integrity and reliability. Additionally, we bolstered system security to safeguard sensitive information effectively.
• Code Refactoring: We refactored certain application components, reducing manual effort and eliminating dependencies on outdated technologies like Microsoft Access. The result was a streamlined and efficient workflow.

Conclusion:

Despite the project not being as financially rewarding as some startups, CECMP's significance lies in Galliot's deep commitment to social causes. Working with a nonprofit organization required extensive human interaction, collaborating with non-tech-savvy individuals. Those who have experienced a stroke are served by Kandu Health. Kandu offers remote clinical support through the mobile app and team of clinicians. The mobile app delivers information, resources, and guidance tailored to each participant. Kandu empowers stroke survivors to take charge of their recovery and help them acclimate to living with stroke.

In this project, Galliot partnered with Kandu to build the entire mobile application from scratch. Our services included design, development, deployment, testing, user research, and product design.

Lanthorn is a video analytics solution for commercial and residential real-estate owners to track building use, occupancy, and food traffic. With Lanthorn, building owners and operators can use existing cameras and surveillance infrastructure to produce reliable, secure, and affordable data for risk management, contract estimation, and optimization.

Galliot begins the engagement by developing computer vision models that can run efficiently on low-bandwidth processing devices and post-process the data to provide more accurate results. With Galliot's web dashboard, users can log in, add cameras, modify cameras, and set up interactive notifications and alarms based on their preferences. Finally, Galliot assisted the Lanthron team in deploying the solution on different Cloud providers and supporting the client throughout the delivery process.
