HoursBack
Find the hours. Build what gets them back.
Overview
About HoursBack
HoursBack finds where a team's working hours go on repeated admin, then builds the fixes that give those hours back to the people already there.
For larger organisations, the Workforce Capacity Programme starts with short, confidential interviews with the people doing the work, role by role. Leadership receives a dashboard showing hours recoverable by role and by kind of work, where the same task runs at very different speeds, and what to stop doing first. A fixed-term build programme then works through the biggest drains: redesigned workflows, integrations across the systems the organisation already runs, and AI agents that read, draft, check and route work, with a person approving wherever judgement matters. Recent assessments found around 770 hours a year in a specialist insurer's finance function, around 870 hours a year across a marine insurance broker's team and around 780 hours a year in a recruitment team.
For owner-led businesses, HoursBack runs a fixed-scope AI workflow assessment (£799): a single 60-minute interview becomes a prioritised, plain-English report of around 22 pages showing where AI can save time and how to act on it, with automations and AI agents built in the client's own accounts if wanted.
