Our story

Years ago, our founding team worked closely with a mid-sized steel manufacturing company struggling to manage its complex operations. From procurement delays and untracked inventory to production losses and financial blind spots — the problems were everywhere. Every department used separate tools, spreadsheets were breaking, and no one had a clear picture of what was happening on the factory floor.

Forged in the Fires of the Steel Industry

The result? Wasted resources, missed deadlines, and frustrated management.

That’s when we knew — traditional ERPs weren’t made for the raw complexity of steel. They were too generic, too slow to adapt, and far too expensive.

So we built DotBook ERP.

We sat down with production managers, accountants, storekeepers, and machine operators. We mapped the lifecycle of steel — from raw material purchase to finished product delivery.
