2D Animation of Characters, Assets and Environments for Mobile and Browser Games

We hired the Kevuru Games team to create 2D animations for improvement of 2 our games. Our goal was to create high quality 2D animations that would make our game more fun and interesting for the players.
We have been working with Kevuru Games for a long time and know about their excellent expertise in 2D animation. Therefore, when we had the appropriate tasks, we immediately turned to this team.
We had two projects. For these games, the team animated a huge number of elements, characters, assets, environments, buildings, vehicles, and the animators also worked on the interface elements and the loading screen. A huge amount of work was done. The success of the results was largely due to the excellent work of the project managers and the timely response to our feedback.
The quality of the animation matched the scale of our games and fit in perfectly: this was important because we have a multi-million audience of players around the world. We always knew that we could rely on the animation team since communication was always clear and transparent, and all our edits and wishes were immediately taken into account.
We have no comments or suggestions as we are absolutely satisfied with the work of Kevuru Games.

Creation of 2D Characters Design for Mobile Game

We needed the services of 2D artists to create 2D characters for our simulation game, released for Android and iOS
We chose a team where we could find good 2D artists with extensive experience
At first, the team provided us with character concepts based on our requests and references. After approval, the artists began sketching, implemented detailed illustrations of the characters' faces and 2D rendering for maximum realism.
The artists worked on several characters at once, which made it possible to significantly speed up the work.
We worked with art director, lead 2D character artist, project manager and 2D artists, the number of which fluctuated depending on the number of tasks

We really enjoyed working with Kevuru Games, and we have no complaints or comments.

We are a gaming company that creates games for mobile devices on Android and iOS. Our goal was to create a match-three game for Android and iOS from scratch.
We chose this particular vendor because the works in their portfolio seemed to us very close to what we needed for our future game. We ordered a full-cycle game development, so Kevuru Games took over absolutely all the work of creating the game, from art to testing.
First, we approved the concept and design, then the team submitted a prototype for our review, and only then we gave the go-ahead to write the code. The team has implemented testing of the game and provided us with a finished polished product ready for release in the stores we needed. The game turned out to be very bright and exciting and found an excellent response among the players
We always received timely answers to our questions and requests from the project manager, and the team quickly implemented the necessary edits and our wishes for design and mechanics
In our opinion, the most impressive thing is that the company knows how to assemble the perfect team to create a game from scratch. Optimization, Bug Fixing and UX/UI for a Gaming Company

Our space simulation project was almost complete, but a number of critical issues were discovered that were preventing the final release. We needed help fixing bugs, optimizing and localizing the game, adjusting victory conditions, and creating a tutorial. We also decided to completely redesign the interface, so we needed help with UX / UI issues. We were looking for a company with experienced Unity developers and skillful artists who could easily pick up work on a game with a fairly complex topic.

We had a need to rework and refine various aspects of the game, so we needed a large and experienced team with diverse specialists who can work together effectively. Kevuru Games provided us with such a team.

The game was not ready either in terms of optimization or in terms of a good interface. It didn't even work on the most powerful hardware. It was also full of legacy bugs, ended when the player had accumulated a certain amount of money, and often left the player in a stupor for lack of priorities for next steps.

Therefore, the Kevuru Games team faced several tasks at once in different directions:
1. Full immersion in the game code in order to find optimization solutions.
2. Working with the interface and UX/UI.
3. Elimination of errors.
4. Modification of the conditions of winning.
5. Creation of an understandable and comprehensive tutorial.
6. Localization.

The team was given all the necessary access to the source code of the game and its graphics. There was a lot of work, so they immediately got down to business.

The team worked on the tasks as problems appeared in the gameplay and prepared builds for demonstration. Intermediate calls occurred weekly, during which we provided feedback on the builds we received and tested.

Open access to all elements of the game imposes a serious responsibility on the performer. Therefore, we agreed in advance about the mandatory preservation of all confidential information regarding key concepts, code and game models. Thanks to this, cooperation was not overshadowed by mistrust and excessive suspicion in transferring important components of the game to an external team. This allowed us to optimize cooperation and make it as transparent as possible.

We did 2D animation characters with Kevuru Games. I've known them for years as a company with good pricing and speed, broad skillset and sufficient size to take on larger projects if needed. Sales people are always quick to respond and projects can get off the ground very quickly. Project management is solid and the online communication tool works well. They are able to produce work that is of a very high standard. They also strive to deliver projects within budget.
Even more importantly, Kevuru Games does a very good job at communication. We don't speak any Ukrainian, but this hasn't been a problem. Most of the team seems to read and write English pretty well. Also, they respond to each email we send in a timely manner. This is important because we are located in the United States, and if they don't respond, we lose a day of production time.

What is the story behind starting this company?

The Kevuru Games company began its journey with the independent development of game projects. These were casual games for mobile devices. Outsourcing is the practice of transferring certain tasks and functions by a client company to a contractor company that specializes in the relevant field. Having the appropriate expertise in different game areas, we can offer our clients to outsource the tasks of creating 2D/3D game art and animation, game development, game porting, game testing, etc.

Outstaffing is one of the remote employment options, in which the team performing the entire required range of work of the client company is legally another company (outsourcing agency). In order to fully understand the essence of the client's request, before starting the project, we hold special meetings with the participation of leads and PMs to ask all the necessary questions to the client and get a complete picture of the project.
