Portal One Studio

Portal One Studio is a Rotterdam-based design studio founded by Hamed Forouzandeh and Behnam Emami, two designers with 15+ years of experience each who wanted to build brands that don’t blend into the crowd. We work across brand identity, UX/UI design, website design and development, and design systems, with a strategy-first process: positioning, messaging, and audience are defined before any visual work begins.

Our client base spans startups, AI companies, architecture firms, healthcare companies, and blockchain companies across the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, and Switzerland. We lean into complex, technical products in particular, translating dense ideas into digital experiences people can actually follow, using custom illustration, scroll-based storytelling, and motion design rather than generic templates. That approach has earned us an Awwwards Honorable Mention and multiple Awwwards nominations across client projects.

We keep our core team small by design, bringing in developers and specialists as each project demands, so founders stay directly involved from the first call through to launch.
