Speakt is an Online accurate and professional translation platform with Friction-free ordering that delivers human translations at scale. Our team of dedicated managers and expert human translators will connect you with your audience on a personal level with accurate translations that move at the speed of your business.
There is a special pricing form, where you can upload a file and be informed about the cost and delivery timeframe. As the CEO, I am essentially responsible for every decision that is made within a company. I also act as an operation manager. In this role, I make sure the company is turning a profit while producing products and services in an efficient manner.
What is the story behind starting this company?
The story started a little differently 2 years ago. The passion for traveling and the continuous pursuit of adventure and "wanderlust" led me to become an IT Engineer in 2008, trained in a company related to data recovery in Milan, Italy. The Italian company wanted to set up a subsidiary in Greece, which, in the end was not managed in the best possible way. The phrase "perfect timing" was appropriate at this point. All this time, I found the difficulty that faces all export companies, how to find quality translation services, even though the Internet and e-commerce, in general, were on the rise. The seed for this idea was planted in my mind as I worked actively alongside other activities and occupations.

What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
The business model is based on outsourcing, i.e. freelancer translators who monitor their own dashboard with translation projects, and at the same time the in-house team deals with developing marketing, and the development and improvement of the platform.
How does your company any differentiate itself from the competition?
We have developed an interface where translators can have access to translation projects depending on the translation type. For example, if a translator specializes in medical texts, their medical projects will be assigned to him/her. This elevates quality. In addition, translators only translate towards their mother tongue, which also elevates quality. We should also mention that our platform has a different user experience since you don’t need to spend a great amount of time exchanging e-mails since everything is being done through our website.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We address almost all industries. It is true that translation is characterized by globalization, so the need is everywhere. The needs in and trips industry are a bit greater.

We offer translation, proofreading, editing, and interpreting services. The service for which most customers contact us is translation.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Our customers’ satisfaction reaches 98%. This is evident from the customer satisfaction ratio that we get from our customers after every order. We ensure that every order is properly and fully managed. We enable customers to talk to the account manager in charge and the translator at any time through the client dashboard and we can serve them any time.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
At the moment we have our own system where the customer can make their request for anything they may need. We just support them via emails or Love Chat.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
Payments are performed per project. Every order has some projects depending on the languages selected by the customer. Therefore, the total payable amount depends on the number of words and the rate per word.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?

What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2019?
In 2019, we had orders from 1 to 9000 Euros. The fact that you can translate even the smallest text is another comparative advantage of ours.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
Our vision is huge since we improve our services every day. In 10 years, I believe our business will be the top of translation companies.
