Review Summary

We provided StarNavi a set of requirements with a simplified data model. Since the client should be able to dynamically create tables that generate their own forms, the task was not a trivial one. 2 experts reviewed the data model and a designer created a graphical prototype, that helped both client and developers a lot. The app was then implemented exactly as we had finalized the prototype. After delivering we asked for more features and change requests, which we received for a good price. After final delivery and payment we found some additional bugs, that were fixed without any fuss.

Describe your project in brief

A web app supports a clinical research team to record patient data. App administrators are able to dynamically create examination tables that generate individual data collection forms. Examinations are assigned to patients and studies, researchers can monitor their progress, query and export data for further analysis. The app also possesses an API. Since the app replaces a system of Excel files, users now benefit from a central database (single point of truth), role-based permissions and a data recording process.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

Documentation could be better (more precise) and it would be nice if troubleshooting would be offered as screen sharing session.
