UBX has established itself as a 13-year subject matter expert in this space. Our team and our drive as a company have painted a path to provide innovated Cloud Workspaces and managed infrastructure services. Not only do we provide direction that paves the way for positive business outcomes, but we save our enterprise clients and MSP partners from the burden and huge costs of public hyperscalers.

What is the story behind starting this company?

Since 2008, UBX has assembled an elite and highly specialized team of network, system, and infrastructure engineers who are passionate about the work that we do behind the scenes and keep critical systems up and running. I call us the unsung heroes of the internet because we have been responsible for creating and maintaining some core internet properties and enterprise infrastructure servicing 10s of millions of users. Our clients don’t always see us directly but we have touchpoints that venture into many verticals where a high uptime, expertise, and strict security is desired.

What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?

In-house team and Channel Partners.

How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?

From a technology standpoint, UBX is leveraging proven, off-the-shelf technologies in our private cloud operations globally. These technologies are centered around our Pure Storage flashstack that offers incredible performance, automation, and tremendous uptime. We deliver this expensive and highly available stack at a very economic scale that helps our clients get a performant cloud without the CapEx requirements and challenges.

If you combined our cloud masala with a dash of VMware vSphere, Veeam for data protection, and Cisco core network. Then sprinkle in an amazingly talented team you have a recipe for success.

UBX is very particular about the vendors and partners we chose to work with. In 13 years of business across the globe we have to ensure that the company we keep reflects our core values, holds up our code of ethics, and that we are approachable in times of need. Sometimes that means we spend a little more money but that relationship becomes a two-way street.
