Vivato (formerly Smashed Crab Software) is a UK software consultancy that designs, builds and supports custom CRM and business systems for established organisations whose work has outgrown spreadsheets or off-the-shelf tools.

We focus on the systems that run a business day to day, not just the sales pipeline: customer records, enquiries and quoting, orders, scheduling, delivery, service, customer and member portals, and the integrations that connect them to finance, Microsoft 365 and the other tools teams rely on. We also build practical AI into these systems where it saves real time.

Our in-house team of analysts, developers and QA is based in Hull, with offices in Sheffield and London. Since 2014 we have delivered more than 100 projects for clients including New Design Windows, ResQ, the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, Hull College, Contego and TesTex.

Every project starts with business analysis, so scope, budget and priorities are agreed before build. Clients own their system, and we stay on to host, support and improve it. Microsoft Partner and Cyber Essentials certified.
