Zemam (زمام), also known as Zemam ERP, is the flagship product of Smartly Coded, a Cairo-based software company. It's an Arabic-first cloud ERP made for small and medium businesses across Egypt and the MENA region — engineered right-to-left from day one, so Arabic-speaking teams work in their own language while staying compliant with local rules.

The heart of Zemam is a genuine double-entry accounting engine aligned with IFRS. Every number — a customer's balance, the value of stock, this month's revenue — is calculated from an immutable record of transactions rather than stored and edited. So the books always reconcile, and reports (balance sheet, income statement, trial balance, cash flow) are ready whenever you need them.

One connected system covers the whole business:

Because it's transaction-driven, one action flows through everything at once: a sale reduces stock, posts the accounting entry, and updates the customer's balance — no re-keying, no separate tools to reconcile.

Zemam handles Egyptian VAT (applied after discount) and connects directly to the Egyptian Tax Authority's e-invoicing (ETA) platform. It also ships a mobile app, a public API with webhooks, and a read-only AI connector for querying your books through AI assistants.
