I am the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Acorn, developer of the Acorn Performing Learning Management System. My role involves overseeing high-level development, marketing strategy, people, and operations. I am very hands-on in every department. I do my best to attend every meeting amongst my teams and want to make sure everyone’s voice is heard within our company in terms of direction and improving processes.

Across our years in the L&D space, we've spoken directly to thousands of global industry leaders and end users. We've heard many times over from both sides of the table that corporate learning is disconnected from performance; and there isn't a proper solution for this problem. Legacy LMS and Performance solutions have failed to inspire growth. Expectations for businesses, governments, nonprofits and other institutions to perform have skyrocketed as the world gets more connected, busier and focused on efficiency. We have 4 key features in mind when we designed our PLMS. The platform is to allow users to focus on impact and not overload, deliver effective blended learning, link learning with performance, and lastly, report in minutes not hours. Apart from this, we focus on making sure we integrate with existing internal systems and third-party content providers, security compliance (including IRAP, ISO, and WCAG), SCORM and TinCan compliance, gamification features, and capability mapping. All features of our product come ready-to-use within Acorn.
